Elegant yet modern and stylish, l’escale restaurant in Greenwich, CT draws diners into the beauty of Greenwich Harbor, with extensive waterfront.
L'Escale " which means Stopover in french, shares an address with the Delamar, a European-style boutique hotel of 83 rooms and luxury suites.
Designer Amelie Vigneron of Avignon used 200 year old stone terra cotta tiles from Provence for the floors as well as a wood working fireplace from a castle in the south of France. She also salvaged weathered oak window frames from French houses for the cabinetry along the far wall of the dining room. The chairs, specially made in France for the restaurant, are white bentwood with cane seats. The chandeliers made from twisted and curved iron wire are the work of Pascale Palun of Vox Populi.
