I stayed several days at the Maximilian Hotel and I could not recommend it more. Before my stay, they were very helpful over email with questions I had about airport transportation. Upon my arrival, they were very warm and welcoming! They made my trip very special and even had a bottle of wine waiting for me in my room. The location is incredible and so close to everything. My room was the mini with balcony. The view was outstanding and the room had plenty of space. It was very clean and housekeeping did a lovely job each day. I will definitely be back!
We loved our stay at this hotel! Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of space and storage. The staff were all friendly and it was easy to check in and out. The breakfast was excellent, the quality of the food was great. Great location too, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby! Thank you! Walkability: The hotel is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk to the Old Square. Food & drinks: Great breakfast, lots of choice and high quality ingredients.
Probably the best 4 starts hotel I’ve stayed at. The service and the kindness of the staff have exceeded all my expectations. My booking was changed from Hotel Josef to this hotel and how Nathalia & Negin handled everything was simply excellent. They certainly turned a “threat” into a great “opportunity” which could be taught to other hotels. Thank you for that! Besides all of it, breakfast was amazing too. Thanks guys, keep up the great work!
I stayed in the hotel for 8 nights. The breakfast was very flavourful with various options for all diets. The staff from receptionist to the cleaning staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is central few minutes away from the old town and very close to Palladium Praha shopping centre. The interior is so beautiful and the rooms are well designed.
Check-in took exceptionally long. They wanted to charge me for parking, even though I had been assured beforehand that the hotel didn’t have its own parking, so I parked a few minutes on foot from the hotel which was not comfortable with a lot of luggage. I finally got my room card and - as it turned out - the "best" was yet to come. There was someone's personal belongings in the room - clothes, luggage, etc. The hotel had information that someone checked out of this room, it was cleaned, and yet someone was there! It took about an hour to explain everything. We did not receive a room at Hotel Maximilian, we were given a room at Hotel Josef same company instead, which was of a much lower standard - the inside of the room looked awful and was significantly different from what I had booked. And the prize was the same. Not only that, the same was done with the other guests who came to the Maximilian Hotel that day. We saw some couples also wanting to check into Hotel Maximilian first and later checking into Hotel Josef. From my perspective, it looked like a scam: overbooking a higher standard hotel to fill a lower standard hotel. At the end we gave up and found another hotel. The hotel staff was unprofessional and we had to wait several days for a refund.
Truly 5star experience mainly thanks to the amazing staff…. Rooms clean, for city-center hotel big enough, everything new, great surface finishes, definitely recommended…
Words cannot do justice to how OUTSTANDING this hotel is. The location is beyond beautiful, facing a gorgeous church , in a quaint lane but yet within 10 min of a walk from the main square. Within a minutes walk, you’ll find plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants. The rooms are extremely clean. The food is delicious. The decor is one of the best i have seen. It is not a noisy or an unnecessaryly grand 5 star hotel but the service is like that of a 7 star. The receptionists are so good at what they do and go out of their way to make you feel comforted.
From the first time you step in to the hotel to the check out, the service here is unmatched. The decor and atmosphere is that of any 5 star hotel I’ve been to. My gf and I stayed here with our 6 month old and would gladly come here again, thank you from Canada.Rooms: 5/5
Perfect experience - loved the elegant design, fantastically comfortable bed, delicious breakfast scrambled eggs with truffle superb and friendly staff. Just one nigh, sure coming back.Rooms: 5/5
I have recently stayed in Maximilian hotel during christmas week. The hotel is well located to all nearby attractions which made my trip quite easy going. Also I would really like to appreciate each member of reception staff and specially erfan and the lady I guess she was from belarus and was working in the morning shift of 24th as well for helping me with the inputs whether it was related to the travel app or location or money exchange . The kitchen staff and the stewards also took great care of us and last but not least hotel booking team especially Tatana without whom the booking would not be possible and silvia for giving l required inputs related to payment. Cheers! & Thanks, Piyush Dhanik
