I haven’t been to Kyoto for three years. It didn’t surprise me at all that their prices went up. The restaurant was full, but their service was surprisingly fast, almost instantaneous. The sushi rolls and sashimi that we ordered were not bad at all.
The first time I went here, I was pretty upset with how slow the service was. However I went back a few more times and it's definitely improved. Food itself is great, everyone is really nice, hard to beat all you can eat sushi at that price and quality
They are still open as of 2/17/22 Lunch buffet was great. Arrived at 11:30 right before the lunch rush. We had the all you can eat. I'm definitely stuffed from all the goodies. Restaurant is clean, stuff are nice and the chefs do a great work! Will be back. Lunch buffet for adults 11-2 weekdays 17.99* As always we keep coming back. Foods always delicious, the staff is friendly and the service is great. We def stop once a month for lunch. Just just so fresh and good! Absolutely love the staff! Large parking lot outside.
The ika sansai is extremely good. I have seen this exact same dish served in other establishments. Looking identical. Very tasty if you're not familiar. Otherwise everything else is standard sushi.. Kid-friendliness: Good with little kids
We had an enjoyable time. Bella took good care of us and we eat very well. One thing to keep an eye on is the SERVICE FEE. We were told that was the tip so I ask her and she said it was her tip. They charge you 18% so if they do a better job then leave them more.
This is our favorite sushi restaurant of all time. We go there for the all you can eat option once a week. Sooo good! The lunch prices are the best bang for your buck. 10/10 recommend!
Food was good, most sushi buffet is terrible but here they roll to order so everything tasted fresh. Only reason why 4 stars is I recall eating here years ago and it was a lot better. Still great place to eat
I'll start with the food was quite good. If that is all you care about I would still recommend. However, my wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday, and paid for the all you can eat "meal". My main problems were that our server was rude and seemed very impatient. Upon receiving the bill I realized why... There is an automatic 18% "service fee" that is tipped with an option for additional tip on top of that. It's my personal opinion that tips should be earned to avoid this exact situation.
I have been to multiple Kyoto locations and this one definitely ranks very low in comparison to the Roseville and Eagan locations. The sushi rice was stale and not flavored enough- I knew for sure it was not fresh. The service was okay, as it was a big group of us but I have seen servers handle their service better.Food: 2/5
service was great, food was meh, first round of rolls was good. second had weird texture and fish tasted a bit off. service fee and two sodas brought the bill to 75 bucks for 2 people.
