I was there ‘till grade 10, until we had to move out to Alberta. Really great teachers there, especially the music teachers, & that one teacher that got fired for speaking out against the school district, because the district has a fairly inadequate bus system, & was tryna push out some less than favourable schedule changes, to put it lightly.nBut either way, it’s a good school overall. The teachers are doing great at what they’re doin, & it’s better than Ballenas, even tho we had & possibly still have a rotten lil teacher that REEALLY likes kids.
Horrible school, does protect your children from harmful students, labels kids as bad kids and doesn’t do anything to help them get away from certain situations under their care or on their property.
It's okay. Wouldn't call it a bad school but it's nothing outstanding either. Many parts of the building are outdated and feel uncomfortable and I've had a few teachers who are disrespectful and don't really know how to handle teenagers.nnUpdate: Reflecting back a few years after graduating, I still say that it was not a bad school. There were teachers who were educated, compassionate, and tried their best with the students. Thank you for removing a male teacher who was known to act inappropriately towards female students.
First, most of the teachers at the school are friendly, the hallways are normally clean/without trash, also the workout room, gym, and gym equipment are all kept in good shape. Second, the students vaping/smoking is a big problem. Third, the ATM in the school is useless, because the money isn't ever replaced. But overall I would call it a decent school, because of the programs, clubs, etc. This is my first actual review
The perfect spot for a romantic getaway. We decided to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary at Kwalikum Secondary. Best choice we could have made.nThe grounds are beautiful, with a few gazebos and benches dotted around. Great reading and relaxing spaces. The restaurant has super food and friendly staff. The front desk staff are wonderful as well.nAnd the room! Complete with a claw foot soaker tub, a fireplace and a balcony facing the lake and sunset. How nice is that? Kwalikum Secondary is a real gem. We felt as though we had been away for two or three days, instead of just one.
