Newly opened branch of a small chain Kuto restaurants. Interior with dark tones with small artificial fireplace on one of the walls. The restaurant mainly focused on tartares and poke bowls. The menu is not very complicated with few choices. You can convert your tartar to a poke bowl. Portions are large. In my opinion, too many ingredients are making poke to ”busy”. They have specials, for example, Thursday's poke 15$ and some other day all you can eat tartare for 25$. Coffee and dessert are also available. The very professional and polite staff that will gladly help with your requests.
We ate here mar 5 for supper. It was our first time eating at Kuto. The food was very tasty, well prepared and a reasonable price. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a fireplace as well. Everything was very clean. I’d recommend eating here.
Ordered takeout beef tartare and a salmon tartare. Both were very well seasoned and delicious. It was a good-sized portion even thought it did not appear at first, it was filling. Note: the image I am posting is for a plate I made and does represent what came in the takeout boxes.
What a nice little spot! Really did a beautiful job with the set up and dinning area. Super cute and intimate perfect for a date night. However I took my food to go, the customer service right down to the packaging was amazing. I am not a fan of beef tartare but it is a MUST try! It was the pub style and it was absolutely fantastic. Also ordered the fish and chips was delicious, loved the slaw on top. The maple bacon was super tasty as well, flavor isn't overwhelming. Also tried the Mexican and I loved the avocado with it, very delicious. Everything was fresh and portions were perfect. Shout out the Mike for taking care of me! : Highly recommend this place if you like tartare!
It’s a bizarre experience. We were hungry for Asian food, and the neighborhood sushi restaurant was packed, so without doubt we went into this place. It’s Thursday night at 6:30pm, and the restaurant was empty. All poke bowls in the menu are $23. We saw the Thursday special $19, decided to go with that. The girl working at the counter saying they can’t honor that as in their computer system there’s no such entry. So we left. The decor is nice and clean, the service was pleasant. Found them on google map just now, so it’s a restaurant already opened more than a year. One of the Google reviews saying that the restaurant didn’t honor their Thursday special by online order. But this time we were there in person. it’s a bit strange that they still can’t honor what their menu offers even it’s a more than a year old restaurant…
I had the Mexican shrimp tartare, soo good. The other items we tried on the menu were a little sweet but I'd go back many times for the shrimp.
Tartar very good for the fair price. The decor is basic but the place is kept clean which is always good in a restaurant. The only thing is that the plates look dirty/old, I would definitely change that since it doesn't make the food very appetizing... I think it is the material of the plate. The ladies at lunch time were nice however they need a little bit more experience since they didn't offer drinks when we sat down and we needed to get up to ask for bill. They didnt come to ask if we wanted anything else
Always enjoyed the fresh tartar. Sometimes it was overly spiced, however I always enjoyed it. Sad to see that they are closedFood: 5/5
This was probably one of my favourite tartare that I tasted thus far. The one that I took was in the Tuna section it was called "Caraïbes" and it was to die for. Now one thing about this restaurant is that the menu is in french. The waitresses were very polite and the service was fast considering the fact that the main dish is "cold". The sweet potato soup wasn't my favourite but it was a 4/5 for me. The sangria of the night was Peach sangria, not too much alcohol well mixed. I would definitely recommend this place and I will for sure go back to try more from their menu . The aesthetics are nice overall in the restaurant. They have a outdoor patio as well which is good for warmer temperatures. Anything with avocados looked very appealing.
Every time we order from Kuto it's a happy day! OmG! Soo good!
