Taka is an amazing owner and really plays with the flavours. I recommend the Dynamite roll as it is really a great and exciting dish that you can only find at Kurama.

I call Taka owner and order the sashimi don about once a week. It is always wonderfully prepared with delicious and fresh ingredients, and Taka recognizes my number and always greets with my name. I'm always impressed when a restaurant has consistently good quality, and Kurama sushi is one of those places!
This is the best sushi we have had for years. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Disappointed. I travel the province and eat sushi 2-3 times a week. The portions here are very, very minimal, bordering on stingy. Nelson is fortunate to have a plethora of excellent restaurants. The competition is too great to get away with this level of portioning for very long.
