Went on a weekday evening. It was just 2 of us so we paid $42/hour. The room windows were clear so any amount of sun/daylight made our room super bright. Worst thing was the song machine. It was SUPER confusing to navigate through especially for Japanese songs so we gave up lol, and lagged sometimes. We sang mostly Chinese songs and Kpop. A pretty wide selection of Chinese songs, not too bad for Kpop. The sound system is a little weird sounding but meh. The people working there seemed really unwilling to be there though. I'd say the only nice thing about this place is that it's spacious and there are a lot of rooms?
Nicest and cleanest karaoke place I've been to in a while. The rooms have themes which is fun. There is no need to purchase food during your time there and the price is very reasonable $33 per hour with our group of 6. The only downside was the English songs were quite limited and not updated to the latest songs. Would still come back though!
Nice and clean place to sing. Washrooms were clean too. Service was great. Price was decent. Had arcade games in the Burnaby KTV Party World branch. Lots of song selections, however, missing old English songs e.g. true colours, imagine.
A bit pricier than another place I went to but made up for it in cool themes for rooms and a large song collection. It had enough songs that I could go and sing myself for an hour if I wanted to. Also has a deal where you can pay a fee per person to sing as long as you want between a certain time.
if i could give no stars i would, when we had first arrived we stated we wanted to stay in the room for only 1 hour and i had offered to pay in the beginning but the lady had told me that we needed to pay after, and i had mixed feelings about this because at all karaoke places i’ve been in they never make me pay before hand. We didn’t get a warning until we had hit 2 hours, and we were extremely frustrated. we asked them why they couldn’t have gave us a warning when he had hit 1 hour and they told us it’s not their responsibility, so why bother checking in with us the second hour! there was a guy who was walking around and looked at us and failed to say anything until we hit 2 hours. my friends and i are all minors and felt extremely unimpressed by this places unprofessionalism. this was extremely agitating. the quality of the speakers and microphones were also horrible, and the touch screen was extremely laggy. *the owner had reached out to my friends n i and had worked things out with us! thank you for his professionalism! we appreciated it!*
I really appreciate the atmosphere of this K-OK place. Its neon theme is isolated well from the industrial environment that surrounds it. I almost forgot I was in Metrotown when I was singing. The speaker and microphone quality were pretty good. Take this with a grain of salt. I ain't an audiophile; I just think it is better than other places I've been. The song selections were a little bit all over the place for English and Japanese. I mean, it makes sense that everything is mostly pop music. But, there is no "Fly me to the Moon" nor "Hana ni Bourei"???? Additionally, the video quality is slightly potato, but readable. I won't complain too much. Overall, I think this place is very worth.
Worst experience ever. Bad customer service, no outside drinks or food. And the drinks they sell are incredibly expensive. Sound equipments and microphone are also the oldest version I can ever find in Greater Vancouver area. Good luck on keeping this place open for next week even tomorrow.
Price is okay. But expect poor karaoke experience. Speakers sounded terrible, MVs were low resolution you can see the pixels, and the touch screen was buggy. All their technology sucks. If you have no expectations, this is the place.
Nice environment, nice equipment, first time going to KTV that can switch male and female key, and they work perfectly well. All the rooms have different theme, and they're quite spacious. The servers are really nice, we asked them to adjust the speaker for several time, they were still very patient. I only wish they have better menu choice, the menu was really limited, you even have to pay for water. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
Overall a pretty nice place. Service was good, staff was friendly, and even showed us around. The rooms are spacious and clean and had a different theme each, very pretty. There’s a good selection of songs, although not very updated. Some mv were really pixelated or not even the original version. They still use wired microphones, but the sound system is okay. Food and drink options are VERY limited, no alcohol. But I found the prices reasonable, $12 for 2~7PM happy hour. Enjoy ;D
