I travel throughout No Michigan, and I must say the wait staff here is top notch! Our group did not feel rushed or put off in any way. They are down to earth people who are working hard at running their business like many of us in this part of the state. While there's no "red carpet", you'll get a great meal and a smiling staff.

First of all we were expecting a friendlier, warm staff. We were wrong! The older lady working was very rude about a customer that had just left. Loud,clear and publicly, chastised the customer for asking if they had fish available "when it was only 11:00 in the morning". This waitress spent a good 5 minutes doing this. Then I watched her give the bill to her last table directly after dropping the food off. Now onto our waitress... she was smoking right at the entrance door. The customers had to walk thru the smoke and it flowed into the dining area as the door opened and closed. Those of you with asthma or even respect can probably see where I am going with this so onto the next... we both ran out of our diet cokes and the waitress walked past our empty glasses a couple times. (Please keep in mind there was not at one point more than 4 tables in the entire restaurant so there was no excuse) Food: The homemade bread they used was a nice touch to the "3k" sandwich and there intentions were true having handcut French fries however they were very greasy and soggy. Same with the onion rings. The menu stated the "3k" had "lots of bacon, turkey, lettuce and tomato. Well the sandwich had ONE piece of bacon on the entire thing and disgusting, old tasting turkey. To conclude we will never send anyone there or be back until I hear of a drastic change in the place!

This place definitely has that small town feeling. It has a great selection of food and is one of my favorite places for breakfast. The staff is friendly too!
