Krispy Krunchy Chicken

I stop at Sam’s from time to time, and each time my food if always fresh and delicious. They have a variety of different types of chicken & sauces. Plus sides like Mac n cheese, green beans and biscuits. I normally would not jump to consume “gas station food” but don’t let that throw you off. Sam’s is a definite exception. It’s affordable, close and easy to access, definitely worth the money. And not to mention JJ cooks some goooood chicken! Thanks

The food is good, but the woman behind the counter is absolutely unpleasant. It's crazy, the interaction time with her is so short, but the few times I've been there I dreaded that small exchange with her. It's unfortunate because I really like some of the food there, but I don't like it that much to tolerate bad customer service. And it's crazy, because everybody else is bit nicer. Update: I've had a much better experience with the same woman. Maybe it was just a few bad days for her.

I was visiting Toledo for work and on my first night I ordered Sam's Krispy Chicken off a Google recommendation. When I arrived and saw the quality of food that had been sitting in the bins for several hours, I regretted my decision but I decided to stick it out and hope for the best. I ordered a chicken strip sandwich with a side of green beans and mac n cheese. They were all out of mac n cheese but they had mac n cheese with hamburger so I went with that instead. When I got back to my hotel and started eating the food, the green beans did not taste like green beans, the mac n cheese with hamburger was subpar, and I couldn't even eat half of the chicken sandwich. Roughly 5-6 hours later and another hour after that, I had severe food poisoning that affected the rest of my trip. I would never eat at this place again and I would never recommend it to anyone. If you do decide to eat here after reading my review, look at the food in the bins first before you actually eat this food.

Just ordered a 4 piece white meat and a biscuit And only 1 piece had the seasoning on it which makes the chicken what it is and the rest tasted like dirty burnt grease i couldn't even finish it had to call up there just for them to act like they was putting me through to the manager but just kept me on hold and when i called back they hong the line up. Im a food truck owner and would never eat here again

Absolutely horrible experience girl was up front separating skin off of raw chicken not even 6 in away from the hot steam table risking cross-contamination. Cleaning practices in this place are out of this world there is no safe food structure in this place I would definitely not eat in this place I spent almost $40 and it was a complete joke my chicken wasn't even cooked all the way. I definitely plan on calling the health department on this place I took videos and pictures

Ordered the 12 piece tenders with biscuits and fries, the tenders were pretty good the biscuits were actually better than a few well known chicken places and the fries/wedges tasted about how you would expect from a chicken chain. I believe they sent one of all of their sauces for me and I've tried them all and the only ones I've had any taste issues with was the original and buffalo sauces, the buffalo just tasted a bit off and the original tasted a bit fishy maybe it would pair good with a fish dish. But overall it was a pretty good meal.

Ordered on Uber Eats- spent close to $70 on food and they had none of it literally no dark meet. I recieved 4 chicken tenders in a box and because they felt bad they added a tiny side of Mac and cheese but yet I ordered a 25 piece family meal with red beans and rice, biscuits as well as mashed potatoes—so you were out of all of those things? - never ordering again!

I went to the location on Angola and Crissey. The people were friendly and knew the product well. The chicken was fresh and so juicy. The jambalaya was amazing and the biscuits were delicious. I will never get fried chicken from anywhere else.

Chicken tenders are all white meat, juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Chicken legs are a must if you like extra crispy breading! Gyros are made to order, excellent, and fresh ingredients!
