What a great place to see the Thousand Islands! Close to A Bay if you need some essentials, and good access to Goose Bay and the St. Lawrence River. The swimming areas here are great, bring your snorkel! Plenty of good fishing nearby. The only downside here is its popularity - it's always packed.
Great views of cargo ships! We go late in the year, very quiet. We really enjoy it. Downside is that it gets booked up 9 months in advance. Hard to get a reservation. Also, check-in isn't until 5pm...earlier would be better. Check out is at 10am. Why do they need 7 hrs in between campers?
The St. Lawrence on one side and Goose Bay on the other. Plenty to see and do, or just chill and watch the ocean freighters go by. Stars at night are awesome. Sunsets are picturesque!
We found this to be one of the best swimming places in the area. The beach is immaculately clean with cool, clear water. The camping areas which we didn't stay at but walked through seemed well kept and pleasant. Overall, this is another gem in the New York State Park system.
My family has camped at Kring Point for 4 generations. The sites are generally large and most offer some shade. The restrooms have been updated in the past few years and there is now a laundry room so you don't have to drive to A Bay. If you're looking for a place to take your kids, this is it! Unbeatable
We were there in our ClSs A for 4 days. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. One of our favorite places we have visited.
My family comes here every year! We absolutely love it. Theres a little beach, an Island you can walk around at, and you can go for a swim at the point.
