The food is delicious. The Chicken 65 is a must! [Food] I ordered the Butter Chicken with a hot spice level, Chicken 65, and samosas. The Butter Chicken was mouth watering, so good. The Chicken 65 was perfectly seasoned and everyone should order it. I wasn't impressed by the samosas. I also could have ordered very spicy because the spicy wasn't that hot. [Service] The service was slow even though the restaurant was empty [Atmosphere] The restaurant space is nice.
The food was beyond delicious. It is very authentic, gave me a south indian vibes although dishes are from different Indian provinces. I liked the fact that water was offer in copper-made cups and jug. Highly recommend. Even the service was friendly and professional Food: 5/5
Kothur India cuisine may sound like a south Indian food restaurant, but it's not. It's a north Indian food restaurant. The food served is delicious, but the service is super slow. We enjoyed the food too much. Kothur serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Dine-in seating is low on capacity, but kothur is very neat and clean. I hope you must visit the restaurant or can order online for the food. Kothur is highly recommended for Indian food lovers in DownTown Toronto.
Solid place, great staff and amazing chef! Went here for the lunch special which if dine in came with soup, rice, butter chicken, naan and dessert for around 14-15.99 I ordered a masala chai as well which was ok I’ve had better but the food here definitely hit the mark!
The only restaurant that I go to when I’m craving for Indian cuisine. Authentic and high quality food that is made fresh every time. My favourites are the butter chicken with garlic naan, manchurian chicken, and vegetable pakora. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Could not recommend this place more!
To preface this review we got the chicken tikka masala, panneer kothur, butter chicken, garlic naan, roti, and veg samosa 2 per order. I’ve been craving this for so long and this place hit the spot perfectly. To anyone curious about spice level -> level 1 wasn’t spicy at all and level 2 was somewhat the same as level 1. The first bite I took? fireworks exploded. That’s all you need to know. Great place to satisfy your cravings. The servings look small, but honestly it was super filling. We 3 people ordered 3 main entrees and honestly we would’ve been ok with 2 instead.
I must say what this restaurant provides nobody else can provide. First of all, the chef Phillip is a wonderful person having good nature. He properly understand your ask and taste first and accordingly prepare the food. We have ordered the food for small birthday events two three times from this restaurant and they always provided their best. I must say they provide a good quantity and quality. Thank you Philip for making our events special. The items which I personally love are:- Gobi 365, veg spring roll, paneer tikka etc In main course Dal makhni is best Paneer Kothur, Chana masala etc.
I went to this place in the hopes of buying just mint coriander chutney, this lady said they don’t really sell it as it is just a condiment… however, she insisted to just give me the chutney without a fee.. I insisted on buying something but she said it’s okay. It was the sweetest, most genuine service I have ever come across in Toronto. I will definitely come back to order a bunch of food in this restaurant. She really made my day as I was already having a hard time with my baby crying all morning. Thank you.
Amazing Indian food and the best Naan in Toronto. Make sure you try the Mango lassi as well. Friendly service and delicious food. I only wish they kept their old lunch special- but other than that this was excellent.
Great food! If you love indian food and missing it, try Kothur. I like their Chicken Dishes, Chicken Kothur, Chicken Kadai.
