Totally disappointed. I would not recommend this place. Totally different from other Koryo around town, it's a money grab. The chicken is so small and flavorless, a 3 tiny thin slices of beef, a bland macaroni and steamed broccoli for $17...I paid $37 in total for 2.
One word delicious! Chicken and beef was cooked to perfection on grill. The potatoes were fresh and amazing with perfect taste. I have been eating Koryos for many years and the potatoes are always the star of the show. I am giving 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. The customer service was also very nice. They deserve the 5 stars.
Go there if you want to waste your hardly earned money. They call it Korean food lol, it's nowhere near to Korean food. Boiled vegetables for 44 dollars.. Bought a bibimbob and its boiled vegetables and rice with negligible chicken.adding photos for clarity. Flavorless and tasteless food. Khimchi is useless and not even 1 percent near to Korean Khimchi.
We did a take out yesterday afternoon because my sister and I like Koryo, but we are very disappointed. The look and taste of it change. The appearance of the meat were pale, no sauce, the chicken taste old and not marinated well. Also,I saw how the staff cook yesterday, I cannot even see a smoke that will convince me its cooking or heating up. I just dont want to comment on that timedont want to look and sound rude:. My niece who love the Koryo potatoes commented that it taste weird, as i tasted it, it taste different too, like it will expired after 2hrs if not be eaten on that time. Koryo was on my list to eat whenever I go in Cross Iron but with this experience im not sure.
Overpriced for no reason. Meaning quality of beef and glass noodles I get here is always subpar. I don't see the reason why a an order of three slices of beef with a ton of rice and glass noodle and three dumplings that is mostly batter with barely any meat, costs 20 bucks with a drink. Teriyaki sauce looks pale and doesn't even taste like teriyaki
I wonder how is this scam restaurant open in a mall like Cross Iron! Worst place I have bought food from in the mall. I should’ve read the reviews before buying from them. Too expensive for a food that 80% rice 15% vegetable or sides and 5% meat. The chicken had an after taste and was dry, the dumplings were cold and tasted old.
Disappointed. Koryo in bower mall is my favorite place to eat, so I stopped at the koryo here in cross iron mills expecting a similar, delicious experience, and was met with anything but. A distinct lack of flavourful hit me almost immediately, and the few that where present where disgusting, and nothing like their red deer location. On top of the horrifying shock to my palat, I cut open my chicken to find it still undercooked, even though it took 3 times longer than usual to receive my order. I never thought that a location sharing branding with the koryo I so love to leave me hungry, walking away from a full plate.
Got the bibimbap. Basically a flavourless, overpriced bland rice bowl. Unfriendly service. I would definitely not recommend this place
The positive is that sauce was good, however the portion of meat was soooo small for the price. The amount of meat for the bbq sandwich filled at best 1/3 of the bun, but more likely 1/4. Posted a pic of a sandwich cut in half and you can barely see any meat. I watched the cook cut the tiny bit of meat with scissors…not meaning it was unclean, but just so measured. With tip, paid about $15….so pretty disappointing.
Delicious food! I really like the Udon soup but my hubby loved the Korean beef and chicken.
