Kompali Taqueria

We’ve been meaning to check out Kompali for a while now and I’m excited that we were finally able to make it. Well worth the wait. It’s a very cool environment with great Mexican food and a strong tequila selection to go with it. The next time you’re down on Brady or looking for a new spot for good Mexican food, give Kompali a try.

This review is actually for the location inside the 3rd St Market. I just ordered some plain steak tacos, they were super flavor. Something simple yet delicious. Not much to say about this place…..oh they only take cash.

It was ok. Another one of those "trendy" hipster places on Brady street. I was when three others that enjoy that kind of atmosphere so they all gave it a four star. My drink took forever in an almost empty dining room. My chimichanga barely had any meat and the server barely checked on us. The one other table had two couples come and go in the time it took our table of four. The drinks are a hit or a miss. We ordered 7 and 2 were gross

So delicious every time we go. We get the same waiter almost every time and he is a blast, always singing to the ambient music. Tacos are great, my favourite is the steak fajita taco and the salmon taco. We almost always are there on off hours, so food gets delivered in less than 10 minutes! Really great place for a quick lunch The only negative part I can make of the review is of the rice, not fantastic.

Was a pretty great view of Brady Street which is always hectic. Service was good and Quesadillas were flavorful. Can really taste the seasonings a lot which is a plus. Drink was an acquired taste to say the least. Overall a great experience.

Loved this place. Drinks are made right and the food is fantastic! Great spot to walk to if you live close to Brady.

Food was great, Belen the server was very good too but I think she needs more help from the others. Almost 15 minutes to get someone to look at our table and it is not her fault, she has like 15 tables at the same time. It was Friday night, definitely come back again nos in a busy day.

This place is an amazing little gem in downtown Milwaukee. I had the Argentinian steak tacos and a pineapple margarita. The steak was juicy and tender, with chimichurri sauce on top to give it a flavor boost not that it needs it, that steak can hold its own!. The margarita was well made with a healthy helping of tequila mixed in. Definitely stop by if you're on Brady street and craving a good drink to pair with fantastic food!

The waitress was very nice but it takes FOREVER to get service…. I walked in to get 2 margaritas and the bartender never acknowledged after 15 minutes and waiting patiently, had to follow him after no service after waiting in a non busy bar, then after ordering again outside, it took over 35 minutes for a beer and margarita. We had to remind the waitress we ordered drinks. Will not return

The Argentinean taco is the best!!! The Lomo salteado was delicious . The 3rd one was chicken,really good
