This place is as cute and honey as it can be, with a children's area in the back...! The food was light and very reasonable-priced. My partner claims that his cold brew was very good, and I enjoyed my iced barley tea. Service was sweet. We'll definitely be back again to try the other onigiris. I've been to Komma for lunch on a few occasions and it is always lovely. The meals are on the smaller side but are still a good portion and are always tasty. Their yuzu lemonade is absolutely amazing and I'll be going more this summer just for that drink. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and informative if you have any questions about your drink or meal.
Really an interesting mix between coffee and Japanese food, 2 things I wouldn’t have ever thought go together - but I was wrong. Had their Japanese curry udon dish with a grilled salmon onigiri and finished with a delicious mochi and an iced matcha latte. Wow. Food was super fresh and clearly meticulously prepared. While it was my first time trying matcha, I wasn’t into it at first but it really grew on me. Need to go back and try their coffee, but overall was impressed and satisfied.
Charming space & zen! The area is fair big and even has a spot for kids. A very welcoming team. With all of that, you would close your eye if the coffee was decent. But no, it’s incredible; it almost brought back memories of Italy. We have no choice but to return to this warm and cozy place.
Very nice environment, nice decorations, creative menu, very tasty, attentive staff, very welcoming, their soups are delicious and the chef makes the authentic cuisine. Very recommended spot.
First time and won’t be the last ! Hidden gem in verdun and one of a kind japanese cafe Super friendly staff the food was really enjoyable
A cafe where you just feel at home, but with delicious Japanese food as a bonus I’ve been a couple of time and the staff is always knowledgeable and welcoming. They have very good homestyle cooking such as Japanese Curry with rice and drinks with typical flavors such as yuzu. Worth a visit even if you’re not from the neighborhood!
It became our family's favorite hangout. Awesome food, reasonable prices and a little corner designated for kids with some toys and chairs. Us parents can eat/drink something while the kids entertain themselves. The food is great and the ambiance is really nice. I love it, I'm a fan.Food: 5/5
Verdun gem ! The coffee is always good, and they have some amazing Japanese food. Love all the Onigiris
A family-owned, community-focused business that serves the best matcha in Montreal - worth the trip even for folks from outside Verdun! The interior is also awesome - full of plants and comfy seating, with a great children’s play area in the back which means also away from the front portion of the cafe if you are less into inter generational spaces
