I recently had a facial with Alicia and it was a phenomenal experience! She was so professional and made me feel really comfortable. The environment was really relaxing, and Alicia’s touch was gentle and skilled. I loved the extraction portion, because I had several blackheads going in. After the treatment my skin was absolutely glowing! Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back to her in a heartbeat.
Earth and Flowers full body spa treatment Esthetician Alicia transported me to an other-worldly experience of botanical delight. She expertly set the tone of a tranquil, soothing environment that let my mind and body escape to an enchanted world. The full body mud wrap and subsequent light body massage left my skin rejuvenated and my mind calmed. Alicia's touch was gentle but firm, and her soft, quiet voice was so conducive to the relaxing ambience she created, I actually fell asleep! The facials with botanically infused oils were amazing and a feast for the senses! My skin glowed and felt moist and plump for days afterward!
I like to treat myself to a facial service here especially during the winter time since I have very sensitive skin. My aesthetician Alicia was amazing! She took such good care of me and was mindful to be gentle. I will definitely return.
Tried their oil for the first time, slightly high priced compared to super/drug stores, but then here you are paying for non chemical product. Highly recommended!
If you want to be relaxed for 1000 years, do yourself a favour and book the 2 hour Dr Haushka facial with Sarah. So much more than a facial, with attention paid to feet, hands, arms, legs, neck and scalp. It is the most relaxing and therapeutic treatment I've ever had. I fell asleep on the table, which I never, ever do during massages. My skin feels AMAZING and Sarah is a lovely human. Will most definitely book on a regular basis. Self care is needed.
A bit of background. I found Kolya in Jan 2021 when I decided to make my own shampoo, and they had my attention from that first order. I loved the attention of care and detail. The way it was packed. The small seal on my invoice. The free samples - Everyone loves free samples. And the chocolates. Within those samples, I found the products I now religiously used as part of my skincare routine, and I loved the idea of supporting a small business with a female lead. And so since Jan 2021, I was a loyal customer to Kolya Naturals. On 28 April 2022, I got an email about activating my account with Optimum Health and so I did. I placed a small order $66.08 Free Shipping. So far so good. On Tuesday, 3 May I got a notification saying my order was delivered but I never got it. There seemed to have been a mistake somewhere with Canada Post. There was nothing in my mail box, or a key to the bigger boxes, or a notification to collect from the local postal office. I went to the local Canada Post office and they didn't have it either for me to collect it, so they suggested to call Customer Service which I did and opened a service ticket. I emailed Optimum Health about it with all the details. Their response time wasn't too bad, their response was - long story short - Sorry to hear that. Thank you. And we also created a ticket with Canada Post... OK? so I replied back wanting to make sure that in order for me to get the product that never arrived, I either had to wait for one of us to hear from Canada Post or purchase a second one without the guarantee that it will be delivered unless I pay between $17.31 and $49.68 on shipping? This was their response to that: "At this moment, we are unsure if Canada Post would refund us for the missing product, and we must therefore wait for a conclusion from Canada Post about the whereabouts of your parcel before we take further steps. We understand you are needing the product asap and so we will send you several samples of this product by Canada Post Xpresspost service, to help in the meantime. We hope this is an acceptable temporary solution, and we thank you for your patience." Samples?! From a quick search Optimum Health and Vitamins is a company with a revenue between $10-20M, and so I would have expected a much better solution. I didn't realise they needed the $70ish more than I did. Anyway, I was honestly very disappointed with the drastic change in the customer service. It just shows that the charm that brought me as a customer from a small business is no longer there, which is a shame.
This place has a great variety of high quality natural, green and clean beauty & skincare products! I've been in store and ordered online many times and I'm always so impressed with the love and care they put into their customer service! Genuine staff and a great company to support in Edmonton! I look forward to trying out their spa one day too!
