This moving company took all the stress out of moving, I would recommend them to anyone who is moving to or from Maine, We moved last week from NYC to Washington Maine and I have to say that everything went perfectly. From the packing up of all our things in New York to the delivery and unpacking of everything in Maine - perfection. Plus, all movers were polite and considerate. And, their prices beat all New York movers who had also quoted us. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Nothing was broken or lost in the move - care was taken at every level.

Wonderful group of people. Everyone we dealt with from the office to the those packing and loading were pleasant and considerate. All on time.
In addition there rates were excellent compare to those in the Washington DC area.

Knowlton is the worst! They were responsible for multiple deep cuts in all of our wooden dining room chairs. When I spoke with the owner about it he was a jerk and denied all responsibility. They then threatened to sue us since we were withholding payment until we determined the cost of the damage. Additionally a couple other items showed up broken. Aside from the movers themselves every person we dealt with there was unpleasant and aggressive. We ended up paying them just to avoid any further interaction with them. I will never use them again
