Knollwood Cemetery Association

They set a deadline of Feburary 15th to remove Holiday Wreaths and Flowers, a date where typically the weather is at its worst in Cleveland. Since the majority of folks who place these memorials are elderly, you'd think they'd be a little more thoughtful, but thought appears to be in short supply at Knollwood. Example: Their consistent inability to cut the grass for the two most important days of the year: Mother's Day and Memorial Day. And remember to bring your own water for flowers as they have none. My family is buried there but I won't be.

A DISGRACE They have absolutely no empathy for grieving families. The cemetery is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, days that family members need to be with the deceased and the association refuses to accommodate families in times of grief. When asked to keep the facility open, the president of the association immediately became belligerent and said it was “ridiculous" to even ask his employees to open the facility on those days. This pathetic organization has no business in serving the public and should be ashamed of themselves.should be ashamed of themselves.
