Had the apple quick bread; crumbly and strangely salty. But the pumpkin bread was moist and so delicious. Wish they'd work on the apple recipe.
Nice place, but we got there right at opening and there really wasn't much there in stock. Nothing that really seemed fresh, either. Perhaps we missed what their 'specialty' was, but what we did get really wasn't much better than any store bought item.
Just visited this past weekend. Order large apple crumble but pie. It is the BEST apple pie I've ever had!
Was in Galena this weekend and stopped for the cinnamon roll and had to waited a 1/2 hour for it to be made. We went back to our camper to eat it and it was not cooked all the way and was raw from the edge to the middle. Very unhappy to pay $4.50 for a undercooked item. Will definitely not recommend this bakery to anyone.
Cinnamon rolls were fresh out of the oven and tasted amazing. I also picked up a cinnamon coffee cake and that lacked flavor and was too dry.
Not a very big selection to be called a bakery. Got 2 small loaf cakes and both were doughy and very salty!
They make the BEST sugar cookies. They are so good that they taste like my grandmothers 100 year old family recipe.
A great local bakery. You will wat to go early in the day for the best selection. By the time we came through everything was almost gone. I can't wait to have the cinnamon roll tomorrow morning
