Theresa and the team at Klein Creek helped us host an exceptional memorial dinner following my mom's funeral in their Pier 19 restaurant. With very little lead time, their team helped us select a menu, determine THE PERFECT space for our 40 guests, accommodate our flower delivery and set up our table settings and candles just as desired. The restaurant and clubhouse were recently renovated, which made the location even more appealing. What could have been a sad event was a wonderfully warm evening with wine flowing, laughter, terrific food and more importantly--outstanding service. Their banquet team was so attentive and friendly. The enclosed bar and fireplace made the venue such a terrific environment for gathering. I can't thank this team enough. Great communication, easy to work with and a truly special event. Top-notch, all the way around. THANK YOU!
Stopped in for St Patrick's Day. Place was packed! CB&C was just ok. Live music was good. Unfortunately we were expecting some traditional Irish music and didn't get any of that. Maybe next year?
We used Klein Creek Golf Club as our wedding ceremony and reception venue and would highly recommend it! Very reasonably priced for the wonderful service that we got. From our first visit, the staff there was welcoming, encouraging and accommodating. They were willing and even enthusiastic to work with us on things that other venues had told us would be difficult to do, like getting a gluten-free wedding cake and having a gluten-free guest menu for our g-free groom. As we went through the planning process, the event coordinator Theresa was amazing to work with. She responded to emails very promptly and would follow up about things that had even slipped off of my very organized radar. On the weekend of the wedding, the staff made us feel cared for and completely supported. Everything went incredibly smoothly and a lot of that was to the credit of the staff at Klein Creek! Our outdoor ceremony and pictures on the golf course were beautiful and our guests loved the heated reception tent on the chilly night. I would highly recommend Klein Creek as a wedding venue for outdoor ceremonies and tented receptions, you'll find a wonderful staff and an event coordinator who did as much to make our day successful and smooth as our hired day-of coordinator!
I have been playing golf at Klein Creek for about 20 years. During that time there were lots of ups and downs but I am pleased to see the course is getting better and better. They have now fixed or in the process of fixing all the problem areas. The traps are looking good. The greens are greatly improved. The design has always been a fun but challenging course to play. They are bringing in live music regularly. I'll have to wander over to see how the menu looks and give a rating on the food side of things. The staff is very friendly and the beer is cold.
Today was our first time here Gail and Jason were phenomenal ...everyone was really nice and the food was really good...Jason makes the best old fashioned and the best mai Tai
Waitress was good and so were the appetizers. The menu stunk...really wraps, sandwiches or salads? They advertise steaks and seafood. 2 piece band way too loud
Liked the course. We called to make a tee time instead of doing it on line . LESSON LEARNED … do not call. We paid $25 extra per person. It would have been nice if they would have mentioned that like many other courses courteously do.
Great course, greens were in very good shape. The Pier 19 had awesome food and a great atmosphere. The golf staff and restaurant staff where very friendly. Definitely come back next time i'm in town.
FIRST AND ABSOLUTELY THE LAST TIME HERE. I wanted fish for dinner last night, Friday, and I've always wanted to try the food here. I had my husband call and see if they were doing fish fry and to see if there was a wait to be seated. The lady that answered the phone said they were doing fish fry and there was no wait to be seated. I had my husband call back to see what the price for fish fry was. So 2 calls to the restaurant before we left our house. We got to the restaurant and we were seated immediately and was given waters. After about 5 minutes of looking over the menu and the little card that was on the table regarding the fish fry our waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to order. We both ordered a drink, 1 diet and 1 iced tea. At the same time we both ordered our fish fry dinners. After 10 minutes of waiting, my husband went up to the bar to get our drinks as the waitress wasn't bringing them. We waited about another 20 minutes until some male worker, possibly the manager, came to our table and said that they weren't doing fish fry due to the wedding going on there. WHY DID THE LADY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE TWICE AND OUR WAITRESS DIDN'T TELL US. Wasted a half hour of our time. Will not give them another try.
If I could give zero stars I would. The general manager is extremely unhelpful and extremely, extremely rude. We called due to a charge discrepancy. An employee told my husband that even with an 11am booking, she’d charge him the $55 rate. However, they charged us $75. When we called to dispute this, they refused to stand by their word and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was extremely rude, I have never been spoken to so rudely. During conversation he was raising his voice and at one point told me that my husband needs to be educated and learn how to read. He kept referring to what it says online, and would not stand by his employees word. Don’t give this place business. They lost many customers, as my husband is part of a large golf community, over $20. I hope this manager learns to speak to people nicely and actually cares for customers.
