Highly recommend reserving one of the study rooms if you seek a quiet place. Indoor playground in the middle of building generates lots of noise. Other than that everything seems pretty well-kept.
This library is amazing. It’s very quiet, and has a large catalog of books, games, movies, magazines, and more. There are study rooms available to use, and even areas for certain age groups. Public computers are available for use and have an optional kids mode to keep little ones off websites they shouldn’t be on. There is also helpful and kind staff who are willing to give information on anything you need.
Love the brand new library, they just opened this building this April of 2022. We waited a week to check it out for the crowds to ease off. Just like all the library branches the librarians we encountered were very outgoing in wanting to help us and guide us to the new sections of the facility. If they don't have the book/media in here at this branch they can easily request it from one of the other ones in the county, or even an inter-library loan. I look forward to exploring this site more in the future.
We love the events and space at this library. The kids look forward to visiting this locatoon. The kid area is amazing.
Library Foundation organized a local author, DD Black, talk. It was great. Silverdale branch is a beautiful library.
