Quaint little park next to my house. I walk my pups here often, beautiful lake. Unfortunately like most lakes in the area it has an ongoing algae bloom issue. Otherwise it's a beautiful lake and fantastic area to reside in.
Filled with grass, quite a ways from the shore. Makes paddling really hard unless you stay in the center of the lake.
The boat launch area is inundated with seaweed and it clogged up my JetSki and prevented the water cooler from functioning properly so we had to cut the day short. I would like to give a better review maybe if the city removes the seaweed from the boat launch area in the public beach area I could give a better review.
Very small park. Has a loading dock for water sports. Saw some people fishing here. Not a good place to walk your pets. Mainly just fir water sports or fishing. Does have a public bathroom. Had a lot of bugs when we went here.
The boat ramp was easy launch the lake was beautiful and calm.
A decent lake. Caught my first bass here earlier this summer off the dock, but no luck since then. It looks like fishing on a boat on this lake is more productive and I often see people coming back in with several trout. The park has a few picnic tables and a restroom that they lock at dusk. Call me crazy, but the last time I went into the bathroom a few months ago, none of the stall dividers were in place so it was just an open room with a couple of toilets. I'll update this review the next time I go over there about the bathroom situation.
Great park for kids on the summer for fishing and playing
So nice!! Arrived at lake about 11am. One or two families doing water sports out on the lake. I went there to write. Working on book. Very peaceful. Laid a blanket in the shade and took in the inspiration around me. Nice little lake. Friendly people. Everyone was socially distancing. Picnic tables, shady spots, sunny spots, boat ramp, docks to swim from. public restrooms. Real good expiriance. Lots of frogs and snails wondering around. Will return again.
