Such a gem! Staff was very friendly but the food was incredible. My french toast with bacon was among the best that I have had. My husband had a chicken Caesar wrap that was huge and delicious. Two bottles of water and two pops and it was only $26. Bought some treats for later that I can't wait to try.
A wonderful shop for local and unique food products. We absolutely love their all-beef summer sausage. Excellent spot for baking supplies as well. Their café has breakfast and lunch items, fresh to order and table seating as well. Staff are helpful.
Every month or two I make a trip to Elmira to go to the Farmer’s Market. While the market is nice the highlight of my visit is always stopping at Kitchen Kuttings. I’m in love with their sandwiches, and always enjoy their baked goods and preserves. You also won’t find fresher cheese curds in the area. Keep up the great work!
My wife and I are here and visited the attached store as well. My wife had the french toast and states it is the best she's had; the bread was very fresh and it wasn't swimming in cinnamon or powdered sugar. I enjoyed the chicken Caesar wrap and it was large and delicious; the salad, chicken, and bacon were all fresh. The market provides an abundance of home made fair, including incredible butter tarts and very fresh bread. We'll happily return during our next visit.
You will love everything about this place! From humble beginnings four ladies at the St. Jacobs market now of bustling hive of activity amazing food fantastic coffee and excellent service! Plus a retail side so you can take the goodness home with you. Oh by the way you can shop their online store!
Never, ever have I visited a business that was sooo pristine and filled with sooo many delicious foods. I definitely wanted to taste everything in-store. The staff are all Mennonite women of varying ages, and I found them to exude bright disposotions, and very welcoming. There is a cafe side where you can purchase hot foods, pies, sandwiches, salads etc., and there is a cheese & deli side also filled with flour, sugar, homemade pues, and varying trinkets and all decor. They also sell prepackaged soups filled with everything needed, and many other jams, it's, freshly made pastas etc. The sandwiches we ordered were simply, and neatly packed and delicious. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and it is worth it! We purchased jams, jellies, and 10 year old cheddar cheese. SOOOO GOOD!! Everything about Kitchen Kuttings makes me want to return.
Friendly service. Extremely clean. Had breakfast and it was very good. Great place for breakfast and lunch or just a coffee and treat. Has store within the establishment with deli meats, home baking, soup base, cheese balls and much more.
Fantastic place to pickup bulk food items or have a quick lunch. I recommend buying 3-year-old Mapledale cheddar cheese, white popping corn no hulls and summer sausage in the store. And you will be stuffed with a summer sausage sandwich on the luncheon side of this establishment.
What a remarkable experience!! Kitchen Kuttings has an amazing array of meats cheeses, tempting baked goods, frozen meals why cook?, preserves, and party platters. I decided to sample a breakfast sandwich from the Deli, wow! This was as fresh and tasty a breakfast sandwich as I've ever had. The bacon, cheese, and egg, prepared fresh nothing pre-cooked while my mouth watered, was topped with fresh tomato and onion. It was served on a very fresh and lightly toasted bun. Really good! The store is wonderfully clean and inviting. The friendly service rounded out a most satisfying visit.
The sandwiches are all great. They have lots of other items you can buy in the store. Try the ginger cookies! The staff is always friendly, we will definetely be back.
