Kit Carson Family Restaurant

This place has been here since the 1950s. If you like a traditional diner this is the place for you. The meals are hearty and we'll cooked. I wouldn't call them gourmet. Ask about the name. There's a good story connected to it.

I love going here with or without friends. Their steak special has been really nice. I love the hamburger and fries. And the coffee is perfect for me. Also the help is friendly and good

Had the appetizer platter and the special which was "Cajun prime rib"..... I don't know where to start with this. It tasted like cloves, it was super thin and dry. The baked potatoe was super old, hard on the outside and had a weird smell. The appetizer platter was also disappointing. The marinara meat sauce served for dipping sauce tasted like it was burned and had been sitting for days. I would not recommend this place, I will go out of my way to warn people so they don't waste their money! I did not eat the food and I expressed how unhappy I was with the food. The owner still insisted we pay. Hands down worst worst worst!

Great family style restaurant. the best place in chehalis for breakfast! I've never had bad customer service either... Everyone is friendly and outgoing overall a great place to enjoy a good meal.

We went for the Thanksgiving dinner, although the meal was very good we were a little disappointed because the Thanksgiving dinner we have had here in the past was exceptional. Although this year they added prime rib which several people we're ordering and looked great. In the past they have done a ham that left me waiting all year to have again. This year the ham was good but just not the same. Overall we still had a very good meal, just wish they would bring back the great ham they have done in the past.
