Nice small clean beach with a playground for kids, picnic tables, swimming area, trees. Wasn’t too busy in end August.
Amazing place with a very beautiful view to get to. Beach was soft and water was clean. Washrooms and facilities were clean as well. Lots of parking available and benches also located through out. Water was peaceful and not rough. View is breathtaking and very peaceful. Have to visit for sure.
The beach is small, nice and sandy, enough parking spots for the area and a nice set of washrooms. Great little spot to spend the day.
Three parking lots, two can get full pretty quick and the third is kind of half-hazard so getting there earlier might be a good call. Beach is not too big but it's also not so busy it's unbearable. There is grassy area behind the sand that has some tree coverage. The water was perfect temp and the shore is very shallow maybe 2-3 feet even very deep into water maybe 100m in? So no need to worry about swimming, and kids can have a blast.
A small cozy beach in beautiful muskoka with clay beaches. The water here is clean yet there is a restriction for private property. There is appropriate distance to social distance but it can get crowded very easily due to size restrain. A mesmerizing view and the water is suitable for kids as it doesnt get deep unless youre closer to the limits.
Kirby's is great for a family outing with an excellent beach and a modern playground. Washrooms and change rooms make it extra convenient. Bring a chair and a blanket because it is often busy, but not crowded, and the picnic tables go fast.
Small hidden beach with a park and some grass. Not a lot of parking since it's a more intimate beach but the water was clean and the surrounding location was gorgeous
Great beach. Silent. Away from the city life. Has a great playground near the beach. Shady trees to lie under. Crystal clear and still water.
Nice and clean beach, water is fine and the only con would have to be the parking as it tends to get packed up easily.
Came here a few weeks ago and was stunned to learn that the beach had been closed due to "hazardous waste." When I looked it up online, there were stories from all over the media about how some terror group had intentionally put broken glass, nails, and needles into the water and along the beach. Sorry, but I don't care how long you try to clean that up, I just wouldn't feel safe bringing kids to a beach where I knew there were needles and glass around. There's simply no way to get rid of it all, especially the needles. What a shame.
