First time visiting and wow, I think I found my local West Island ramen spot. Great food, good atmosphere and excellent service. We sat at the counter so we got to hear the cooks talk back and forth in Japanese which we absolutely loved, added to the experience. Overall a wonderful time and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience.
Pork ramen was delicious! Broth was flavorful, just needed a lil spicy sauce. The pork belly was tender and loved the slightly runny seasoned egg . Also the Takoyaki octopus balls were really good !! Nice modern restaurant. Waitress and staff were very friendly! Definitely going back! 8.7/10Food: 4/5
Very delicious ramen and friendly service. I ordered spicy amaze mazemen, original karaage, pork spicy garlic ramen. Definitely going back for more summer special menu.
Amazing ramen place! I am a huge ramen fan and Kinton is one of the best in Montreal. I have been to 3 locations and all did great job. Easy to find. Parking available. Staff friendly. Pretty spacious and no rush during lunch. Came here during lunch at work and it was done pretty fast, so did not have to wait much. Food was tasty and flavorful. Had Pork Miso Ramen. A bit pricey, but worth it. Will definitely come back!
As expected from Kinton ramen, their food pack a lot of flavours. Whether it is a side order of fried chicken or their rich and creamy broth, the flavours are enticing and enjoyable. The thing that keeps me from ordering here more often though is the price. Around 18$ for a bowl, with tax and tips it comes to around 25$ for a bowl of ramen that barely keeps me full. The noodles, the broth and the meat slices are all delicious however. I do enjoy eating a bowl of ramen from them from time to time but I'm more reluctant when they don't have any promotions going on. Moreover, you can really customize those bowls to your own liking which is always a plus for me.
Delicious soups and apps. Love the place, cozy and welcoming. Went at a downtime, so no problems with seating. Thanks again!Food: 5/5
Did a take out order, online order was very easy; but the staff mixed up all my extras : put two eggs in a bowl where I didn’t add an extra egg.. and in my soup there is a long thin hair between my pieces of porc.. no one at home has long hair.. so I am a-little disgusted but, I am hungry and I live 20 minutes off the restaurant, so I have no choice to eat it. Soup was ok, noodles were a little too sticky.. I don’t know if they take it out from a fridge or they cook it a little, but it felt kind of prep in advance and it didn’t come out that well, were not able to finish the noodles I think the quality of kinton has greatly decrease over the years. It went from quality to quantity.. and when it’s goes to quantity, quality can’t be match anymore, we shall name kinton fast-food ramen. And I ll totally understand. Keep getting better!
I ordered takeout several times last year and were good. It’s the first time in restaurant in person. I love the high ceiling design and the restaurant ambiance. For the food, I have nothing to say except perfect. Ramen broth is thick and flavorful, but you don’t taste the fatness. It’s definitely one of the best Ramen spot in MTL, even better. Also friendly staff, easy to park, near highway 40.
Spicy pork soup has literally a slice of 98% fat. Disgusting. The other slice had lots of fat, but at least it was eatable. Can’t believe I paid for this. First time going, will not go again.
Great service. The waitress explained the menu with patient and even she mistaken our order, they sent an extra sake on the house. This is the go to place when you crave for some ramen!
