Small and cozy sushi restaurant. I ordered Maki Mono 'Rolled Sushi' California roll, Spicy tuna roll, and Freshwater eel roll - all of the rolls were fresh. I just wish my freshwater eel roll had more eel in it. The service was great.
Stopped by this little gem in Carol Stream for lunch and it was such a pleasant surprise! Cute little place, staff was so friendly and sushi was fresh! We got the sashimi lunch special and it came with miso soup, a little house salad, a California roll, 4 pieces of chef selection sushi and about 6 pieces of sashimi and a small bowl of rice. It was perfect and hit the spot. Sashimi was on the thin side but for $14 lunch special and you get all this food, not a bad deal at all.
Absolutely love this place. They’re always playing some bangers inside it seems, service is always fast, and the sushi and sashimi here is straight fire!! One of my all time favorite places to go and grab some sushi. I would highly recommend the Cry Cry if you’re into something a little spicier, but not overwhelming. I’ll come back to this place for as long as I can!
This is my absolute favorite date night spot with my wife! We've been coming here for years, and they've never let us down. Cozy atmosphere, professional and speedy service, and delicious food. A perfect sushi spot hidden in a strip mall, this place truly special.Food: 5/5
I’m so happy I finally tried this place. The staff are so friendly and kind. I was at the library with my baby and wanted to pick up sushi for dinner for my family. I stopped by to view the menu and order to go, I love that the menu has pictures. I waited in my car with my baby because he’s a little rambunctious at the end of the day. When the order was ready, someone brought it out to my car to save me an extra trip in the cold with my son, I thought that was so kind and thoughtful! The sushi was really good and priced right, we will definitely be ordering from here again.
Delicious food. Easy pickup and they labeled everything which was helpful. This is our second time ordering Kinta. Won't be the last! Our favorite was volcano roll and we also loved the sashimi.
We moved out of a dingy apartment in St. Charles Square Apartments and thankfully landed a beautiful home in downtown Carol Stream. Anyway this place is a few blocks away and is excellent. The Kinta Combo is the way to go. Great quality to cost. Hands down my favorite sushi establishment in the area.Food: 5/5
Came to Chicago to work, found this place and came back a few nights later. Highly recommend this place. If I lived here I'd keep coming back to try everything. Fresh and very tasty. Thank you Kinta Sushi for amazing food!
If you are craving authentic Japanese flavors, I would not recommend this place. If you are in the mood for some Americanized Japanese food, you might find something here that you like. There were a lot of things on the menu to choose from, unfortunately, it was mostly the same thing with just a different ingredient or two. I chose what seemed to be the most unique dish and thought that it was alright. I was not very impressed with the tea or the miso soup. The tea is not a big deal at all, but the miso soup definitely had enough of an impact as to detract from the experience. The tempura was good, though it had tempura that I would not normally consider to be a "traditional" staple of the dish. Not bad, but at the same time, not great to make the change worthwhile. I did enjoy the noodles and the broth was nicely flavored. Service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable enough.
I feel the chef is an artist. All the dishes I sampled today was really great. Service was excellent. Very accommodating. Next time I'm in the area, I will return.
