They showed up 6 hours late, all the while telling me that they were only 20 minutes away. One of the movers looked, acted, and smelled like he was high and stopped working about halfway through. They broke and damaged a number of my items. They did not reassemble to completion any of my furniture, despite me being told when I scheduled them that they would do so, and said I was being b****y when I asked them about assembly. Their credit card system was down the day of the move and I was told on short notice that I had to pay for the entire move in cash at the end of the move including the deposit I had placed when booking (originally it was to the deposit was to be applied to my total bill). When I paid in cash, the mover couldn't even give me a formal receipt and wrote it on a blank piece of paper. When I called the next business day to confirm the deposit was being refunded and to get the name of their insurer to file a claim, I got the run around for a MONTH and still haven't received a response. I contested the original deposit charge on my credit card and since I don't have a formal receipt, the moving company is now claiming I did not pay with cash and that they will not refund the money. Moving across the country was a better experience than moving across town with this company.
