Authentic Indian Cuisine perfection! My family and I stopped in for supper while exploring the area and found a gem. My wife had butter chicken, I had Chennai curry, and kids had the Naan pizza and quesidilla grilled cheese. Every item was perfect and full of flavour. Our server, Tanya, was absolutely wonderful, kind, attentive, experienced with the menu and punctual. We are now re-organizing our trip so we can enjoy another meal here while we are in the area! Vegetarian options: A host of vegetarian curry options. Kid-friendliness: There was a limited kid menu, four items, but just enough for a simple choice. Parking: Lots of paved parking near the entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible doors, tables and parking.
AmazIng food options. Really good taste. Try anything, it’s really good. Try their half platter it’s a good combination of non veg and veg starters. Try their fish, it just melts in your mouth. I have been going to this place for about 3 years now, never get disappointed
Ordered 4 different Indian dishes: goat curry, fish curry, paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala… with rice, plain naan and butter naan. All the curry dishes were fantastic. However, only 4 stars because the 8 naan we ordered were all burnt. Not sure why they Couldn’t just make new naan when they saw they were burnt. We ordered delivery so we did not bother returning the naan or getting new ones.
I ordered a burrito and my boyfriend got butter chicken. I tried the butter chicken and thought it was delicious! So I couldn't wait to try my burrito. Sorry to say this was the worst burrito iv ever had in my life. It had no sauce , was dry , the meat was completely cumped together and basically a hamburger and there was lettuce on it which was soggy. I'm pretty disappointed as we just moved here and I have yet to find a burrito here.
I ordered Angus beef curry and it was amazing, absolutely delicious! Very spicy as it should be but the menu does warn you about that, perfect combination of flavours. I will be back many times to come.
We were excited to try the food here yesterday but never ended up eating or ordering as the waitress made us feel unwelcome. When we walked in she was reluctant to seat us and sat us at the bar table when we had a child in the group, even though there were many booths available on the other side of the restaurant. After we were seated we were given dirty cups, 3 out of the 5 cups had lipstick stains on the rims. When I asked for new cups she asked how many and I replied all of them look dirty. She then responded and said “Well you can’t expect it to be perfect”, I don’t expect the dishes to be perfect but I do not want bits of food and lipstick on the glass I and drinking from. Our group decided that we did not want to stay as we felt disgusted and unwelcome.
We were in Kincardine on May 15-16/2022 for our beach wedding. Decided on Kin’s Social for our Saturday pre wedding dinner and Sunday wedding dinner for 16 guests. Tacos included chicken and beef for Saturday dinner and everyone loved it. Sunday’s wedding dinner of East Indian cuisinebutter chicken , samosas, rice and all the other choices were a big hit with the family/ something for everyone. Tanja was SO helpful in making our selections. She might be the true star next to the flavours of Kin’s Social. We recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting great food and an amazing experience. We can’t wait to get back to enjoy some more.
Fine blended ambience of Mexican and Indian. I tried Indian. I would go again, but not for authentic Indian taste, but for a good healthy meal. I think the taste was altered to better suit the western taste buds with toned down spices and herbs. I was particularly surprised by unique taste for biryani and chicken Tikka masala.
Its hard to find good Indian food around Port/Kinkardine area. I was a little skeptical at first but decided to try it out anyways. Wow! As an Indian I have to say that this is likely the most authentic tasting indian food around the area. I got the Baingan Bartha and a couple of plain naans. the bartha was spicy, but it was a good level of heat. very flavourful as well. the naan were soft and delicious too. even after driving 30mins back home. for indian food, the price point is more than fair. especially for the area and for the quality. ill be coming back for sure. and would recommend this spot to anyone looking to eat some delicious food. Vegetarian options: lots of tasty vegetarian options Parking: parking available by restaurant Dietary restrictions: lots of lactose free dairy free food options that are delicious!
Very enjoyable dining experience The chicken biryani was great and they will kick up the spice a notch if you ask. The serving size was good also. My server was a very pleasant woman named Kirti, very attentive, very quick, very helpful with my questions regarding menu choices. I was seated immediately, the food arrived quickly and when I asked for the bill I wasn't left waiting. Good portions, which is rare nowadays. Good prices, not the usual highway robbery. Good hours, good service. I will be back. OK. I am editing my review. I have been back twice more. Had the butter chicken last week, amazing, perfect combination of hot and sweet, had the methi chicken special tonight, also amazing. A different server this time but also very friendly. I love this place!
