I've been wanting to eat here for awhile. Just stopped in for lunch today and had a delicious meal. The fries with cheese and sweet mayo are absolutely killer! The fried chicken is crispy on the outside even after transporting it home and perfectly cooked on the inside. My wife's meal came with the steamed pork bun which my 2 year old daughter stole and devoured then repeatedly asked for more. We will definitely be back! Probably in a few days.
Kids got hungry after playtime at the park. Glad we found this place! Delicious and crispy chicken. Even the sides were great. We've had many Korean chicken foodies before, but out of all of them Kim's is the best. Very generous with portion and size as well. The staff were amazing and friendly. We will definitely come back here.
Have been wanting to try Kim's for a while! Ordered take out...original and honey garlic, boneless. The girl on staff was very helpful and suggested what portion sizes to order for our 4 adults and 3 kids. Delicious, crispy and JUICY! The fries were amazing. Kids devoured it all too. Would 100% go here again. Very nice place!
We've tried Kim's twice and it's been hit and miss for us. The first time my order was wrong. There was only one correct dish out of 4. They were very busy and the food was great so no big deal. We were willing to try again. Well two nights ago we ordered a 10 piece half and half, fries and slaw. Fries were amazing. Super crispy, hot and delicious. Slaw was great. Chicken though was really disappointing. Out of 10 pieces 3 were deep fried bones. No meat. It was like the meat fell off in the batter bowl and they didn't notice. Literally deep fried bones. The rest of the chicken was okay but there were a couple of pieces that were sort of mushy and that's just unappetizing. It's not cheap and that was our spend for the weekend so not really happy. Don't think we'll try for a third.
I ordered # 3 the combo which is supposed to come with boneless chicken, fries,bun, Brussels sprouts and a slaw. There were no sprouts or slaw,I'm assuming it was forgotten? Otherwise this would be 5 stars for sure as the chicken was crispy and moist! Would also be better if the bun was not smeared in honey garlic sauce and maybe packed in its own bag.
I tried kims fried chicken for the first time ever and this is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Their honey garlic chicken was perfect, it had a large quantity of meat, great breading, and amazing flavour. I literally won’t ever go back to KFC, Mary Browns, or any of the other chains.
Fried foods done right! Closest thing you will get to soul food anywhere close. Chicken was still crispy when I got back home and it has sauce on it. Fantastic work Kim’s
Edit: I haven't been to kims for a while now, because after my review, and on my subsequent orders, I noticed that the serving sizes seemed to shrink and the quality had decreased. Original Review: I love the crispy chicken burger, and the half and half spicy/garlic combination. The Brussels sprouts are also to die for! Definitely better than any of the other fried chicken places I've had.
Kims Fried Chicken is the best place in town ! The portions are amazing, and the flavour is perfect. They've recently changed their kimchi rice bowl and it's better than ever. Would recommend to anyone looking to try it
