A national chain that feels more like a local shop with staff that put love into their craft. The selection of sweet treats is vast. From fudge to hard candy and everything in between, you better have your dentist on call. My personal favorite are their sanded lemon drops. On my most recent visit, they were not out for display, but I spotted one behind the counter and they were kind enough to sell them to me. For a friend’s birthday one year, there was a chocolate off where everyone brought a form of chocolate that was then judged and ranked. My submission was Kilwin’s peanut butter chocolate fudge. The judge recognized it instantly and cherished the memories it brought back. They also have ice cream here that I’ve heard is really wonderful. I have not tried it because The Chocolate Shoppe is a block away and I go to Kilwin’s for their other treats, but just know that you have ice cream options.
Absolutely delicious ice cream! Loved the variety of flavors, I’m sure anyone will find one to their liking. There are a lot of dessert options, and you can get some as a gift for others as well! Very pleasant staff.
We came here after lunch while walking around State Street. Very cute and quite big shop with tons of ice cream, chocolate, and caramel apple options. I got the blueberry waffle cone ice cream and it was spectacular. Could not recommend this ice cream more - fresh blueberries, creamy base, and packed with CHOCOLATE COVERED waffle cone pieces. Perfect. Definitely recommend stopping by AT LEAST to smell the place.
So excited to see a little chocolate shop on State Street! We ordered and apple, s’mores and marshmallow. Seriously good stuff! I would have loved for the chocolate to be a touch thicker on the marshmallow items, but the flavor was fabulous. The dark chocolate won me over!
A nice place to get ice cream near the capitol. There are other wrapped goods as well, so this would be a good place to find gifts.

Just opening the door you get a breeze of the surgery treats made inside. It rushes you back to the old style candy shops. The first thing noticed is the work station is placed right in front of the bay window. I was there close to closing so they weren't currently making anything but it was clear they make on sight the waffle cones and chocolates. Continuing to walk past the display case is an assortment of handmade truffles, turtles, peanut butter cups, and candies. Following that up is the ice cream display. Again several flavors to choose from. They provide free samples to help you pick. In the middle of the room there are delicious looking candies such as gummy bears and lemon drops that are pre-packaged. During my visit I ordered an assortment of truffles all of which were melt in your mouth amazing. However if I had to pick a favorite I would say the lemon! My friends ordered ice cream. Two of them got the apple pie ice cream which they said had chunks of real apple and pie crust making it the best ice cream they had ever tasted.
Upscale feeling, clean, gifts galore. Pricey, but appropriate for the product.
Super friendly staff and amazing ice cream! They had a large selection of chocolate treats, fudge, truffles, etc. that looked high quality and delicious. We focused on the ice cream and were not disappointed by the generous servings and rich, decadent flavors.
This place makes you a child when you go inside. Magical and tasty shop. Like magical - shop from X-mass cartons. We was visit with my family at Dec 28, 2019 me, wife and two kind. Strongly recommend. Very friendly staff and huge assortment of any sweets.... and some free samples. Hope that we have chance coma again we live in another state.
