Our stay was scary. At 2:O'clock in the morning I was attacked at the door to our room. I called the front desk, but they paid no attention to my complaint. The next morning I reported it to security but they showed no interest. I guess I'm too white to be taken seriously. I strongly recommend that white people stay away from there.
I ate a burger here once and it was disgusting. The meat was boiled rather than grilled. Sad face.Rooms: 4/5
Oh goodness me where do I even begin. It took 35 minutes for me to get my food. I’ve worked in the culinary industry for a long time I know the acceptable ticket times. For dinner and unacceptable take a time is 25+ minutes. even then there is communication between the customer and the service staff plus usually compensation done by the manager. I never saw my waiter until the food was received, not even to refill my water. I also know individual cooking times for items. What I ordered should not have taken more than 12 minutes. While it’s true that I cannot speak for how busy they were in the back because of takeout orders. There are ways to manage that and one of them is communication. Another one is adjusting your take-out order times to push out dine in orders. With my experience tonight’s failure was due to poor management, number of staff, or training. Now to get on the actual food itself… It was over cooked. When I asked for ketchup for the fries I never received it in the 10 minutes it took for me to eat my meal. Honestly I was better off getting a McChicken at McDonald’s. No I was not compensated for the experience.
Good breakfast at a great price. 8$ before 11am. The Bannock was tasty and the homestyle potatoes were amazing. They had a nice crispiness. Eggs were done to order and overall I really enjoyed the food. Staff and service were both excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. I'm excited to return and try the other items on the menu. Only criticism was the coffee, it wasn't good.
Being here was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The restaurant had home away from home meals that were satisfyingly delish! We would definitely come to stay here again in our future. Thank you Kikiwak Inn!Rooms: 5/5
I give it 3 stars because the food was great. My room was nice and big. And the exterior and interior was nice. I got to save taxes on my room and food with my status card. My review is when I called to book a room the front desk was very unenthusiastic. Poor greeting. Upon arrival then walking into the establishment, it was a weird smell. Idk if it was alcohol and cigarette combined. But we had our 4 month baby with us so it was very difficult to eat in the restaurant. After I went to pay for my room. I was dealing with the lady at the front desk who I spoke with on the phone. Again her greeting was poor. Its like she didn't want to be there. I felt awkward. The process was a bit slow. The customer service definitely needs to be improved in the building. I would stay there again but I would try avoid the workers to bypass the awkwardness.
They must not have changed the sheets in the room because there was a disposable Fork under the fitted sheet. There was paint chips in the bath tub and on the floor. The walls are thin, tv is small with very few channels. Not a good stay
Nice place and excdllent food.
Not impressed at all. I was open to this being a good place to stay. I got in late on a Monday. I went and got dinner and came to the hotel. I basically dropped my suitcase and went to bed. Long day. Got up the next morning and noticed the carpet had not been cleaned. And when I say it had not been cleaned what I mean is there was stuff all over the carpet, there were other people's socks in the room on the floor, and a random pair of tweezers on the floor. I mentioned this to front desk and they were apologetic, they promised to have it cleaned that day. Surprise! Not done. I called the front desk and they told me they had no cleaning staff on, they would be in later that night but it would likely be after I was asleep. Also, I noticed that the glass I had used taken out of the paper wrapper that indicates it's clean had been moved from the bathroom and placed back beside the paper wrapper. I held it up to the light and it was COVERED in the same white fibers that came off the room washcloths. So... obviously it was rinsed in the room, wiped off with a washcloth, and put back on the cabinet. Next morning I mentioned it to the front desk and she was very apologetic again. I basically begged if they would please, please clean the room. I got home that night and the room had been vacuumed, the socks were still in the room, and the tweezers had been picked up from the corner of the room and put with my toiletries. Gross. I threw them away. It was just one last night and I was out of there, but I will never stay there again if I have any chance to stay anywhere else. When I checked out I mentioned to the front desk that they could probably throw those socks away now.
Very pretty , rooms are roomy and have microwave, fridge TV hair dryer and are wheelchair accessible. Has a pool but we didnt try it. We went to the casino a short walk across the grass and a road. The casino is big enough and has a bar and entertainment . We have stayed there before and the food is exceptional but we were pressed for time so couldn't stay for breakfast. Will definatly stay again when on a road trip this way.
