Great Sechelt gem! Sandy is amazingly kind and considerate. Food is excellent quality and flavour. Super Pho with lots of veggies and meat options very nice broth. Nice wings and chicken dishes as well. Ask Sandy and she will try her best to make things the way you want!
Ordinary pho place, but it's pretty good for Sechelt considering there's not that much options. I do like that they have a large patio that is dog friendly that our puppy can chill with us while having lunch.
Such a caring business owner. I had a delicious vegetarian meal, which filled me up after a hard day. She served up my food fast because I needed to catch a bus, made sure I had more than enough change for my fare. She even took a couple dollars off of the total because one of the items didn't come out 100% right. It was delicious, and I couldn't find any issue with the food. I'll definitely make a trip back next time I'm in Sechelt! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options! Loved the crepe and tofu!
This family is amazing. The food, even better. It's hard to imagine we could be so lucky on the coast to have such amazing vietnamese food and all wrapped in a house setting. I always feel like they're inviting me to more than her place of business but also her life. From our family to yours, thank you for all you've done to provide us with great food and memories.
The Pho broth wasn't piping hot and the flavour was pretty watered down and bland. The customer service was great, it felt like I was eating at someone's house.Food: 3/5
Family run Vietnamese restaurant. Lemon grass chicken on rice was good.
Sadly after giving this place a second chance, I can't give them more than one star. First try, service was super slow. They gave me a free spring roll for the wait, but it didn't taste good so it wasn't worth the wait. My noodles were hard and the dish didn't taste fresh, nor flavorful. Second try, wonton soup was also flavorless, as were the dumplings and my noodles were not noodles they were soggy sprouts. After eating I had a fortune cookie from the counter... Read the fortune!
Awful experience! I am really sorry to post a bad review, but we decided to try this place after reading a handful of positive reviews. Beef soup was not tasty at all, noodles half cooked. Lemongrass chicken was dry, with no salt and rice didn't taste good at all. Server forgot to add a sauce as well. We also found a hair in one of the dishes. Chicken terryaki was well seasoned, but meat seemed to be old and smelly. We rather skipped this dish with fear to get a food poisoning. To get such a bad lunch after a long day of driving is very dissapointing. Server was very nice, though, so I am giving one star, but I wouldn't recommend this place.
My daughter's favorite. Reasonable prices. Great service but can be a bit slow at times ...
Decor: 2 Presentation: 2 Service: 4 Quality: 4 Sorry folks, only took pics of the menu as I totally forgot to take pics of the food... by the time I remember, it was mostly in my stomach bahahaha... fail was hungry. This is a typical small town local restaurant, nothing fancy about it. It is remodeled from what appears to be a ranch style home. The decor inside is nothing fancy, typical hangings of vietnamese pictures. They play vietnamese music which was nice to have. I ordered a Pho Dac Biet house special... beef slices, beef balls, beef tendons, and beef tripes. When the food came, it wasn't presented in any way you may be used to in big cities. The beef were not red and the other ingredients were not placed in certain ways for presentation. I thought the ingredients could've been a bit more generous. Now to fans of Pho, it's all about the broth. The broth was pleasantly good, not fantastic, but good. I like broths a bit lighter as it would not overpower the rest of the bowl. I'd reccomend it to anyone in this small town. The price is fair and the service was good. The owners are actually Vietnamese and actually knows how to make an honest bowl of Pho! Overall, I'd recommend this place in Sechelt. Thumbs up.
