I really enjoyed my time at this small, unassuming Thai restaurant. You can tell that it’s authentic by the aunty who takes your orders. The appetizer was the fish cakes and it was so good, I almost wanted to order another one! We decided to share the main dishes and we got the green curry with chicken, pad pad thai with prawn, and pineapple fried rice with chicken. For dessert, we got the fried banana ice cream. They were all fantastic and my only complaint would be that they’re portions are a bit small. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic Thai restaurant that you should definitely check out!
I’ve been going here for 5 years. One of the best thai restaurants in the tri city area. Although their quality of food declined during the pandemic. They’ve recently pulled back to the same, amazing taste that they always used to have. The yellow curry is amazing and the pad thai is absolutely wonderful. Would eat here every day if i could. The price is very cheap for the amount of food you get. Honestly i love this restaurant and i hope it’ll stay in business.
Ordered # 66, 27, and 40 from on line menu. People are friendly and knowledgeable. The taste experience . . . some of the best Tai food I have ever tasted in Canada and USA. Flavor rich food I ordered spicy 3/5 and was nicely balanced. Don't forget the rice or you will miss out on the curry sauces. Only one of three five star ratings I have ever posted in 10 years participating in Google Maps.
Great food! We ordered papaya salad, Khao soi and pad see ew chicken. I was disappointed with the papaya salad, too much sauce and not fresh - I have yet to find anything that tastes like what I had in Thailand. The other dishes were great! Deep, rich flavor and decent portions. The two waiters were super busy but very sweet and kind. From precious reviews I was expecting lots of heat, but medium wasn't spicy enough. I HIGHLY recommend you ask for their homemade chili sauce, it's phenomenal. Not to be confused with chilli oil. Would definitely come back.
Small restaurant, but surprisingly comfortable and relaxing. The best menu ever because it has photos for all dishes, very easy to order. Friendly and patient servers, willing to describe dishes in details. It is a very pleasant dining experience. However, the food is average although I can see that they put a lot of effort on it. I had much better Thai food elsewhere. Therefore, I can only give 3-star.
Each bite was full of flavor. Super delicious and fresh food. We went in for lunch and were served a special lunch menu where all dishes came with a small portion of soup and a spring roll. The lunch portions are great value deals. Also there is a spice level of 1-5, we took level 3 which was just perfect for us. We ordered the pad Thai and Khob Khunn spicy noodles highly recommend this spicy noodles, great flavor!! The owner was very friendly and made sure we either washed or sanitized our hands upon entering the restaurant this showed how much they care about the well being of others - truly appreciate their initiative!!
I've eaten from here a few times now and it's basically always the same. It's overall quite authentic compared to some other places that are more 'western' style. My only complaint is that the dishes don't have the fresh taste that some other Thai restaurants offer. Otherwise, it's a solid 4/5.
Ordered 4 different menu: pad Thai, chicken satay, Tom yum noodle soup, pad seew, and smell appetizers. Most horrible food ever. The food looked like left over which have been put together. Had to throw away everything.
It was the worst food i had by far. Pineapple fried rice was not even seasoned, the rice was overcooked and rice grains was still stuck together. Crispy pork belly was not even crispy the sauce has no taste. Pad thai had no hint of salt or any seasoning what so ever the texture of the noodles was soggy. The tom yam seafood soup wasn’t edible i don’t believe this should even be served period. It literally had to be the worst food i have ever had in my life. I wish they had a zero star option. There is a macdonalds down the street just go there instead.
A hidden gem with authentic Thai food and friendly staff. We like ordering the appetizer platter which comes with a variety of items: mango salad, chicken satay, spring roll, fried tofu, fried chicken wontons and fish cakes. We also like ordering the red and green curry with coconut rice for ourselves and pad see-ew with no spice for the kids. Their deep fried bananas with ice-cream and black sticky rice sometimes served with mango are also delicious to finish off a meal.
