Waited 20 minutes for my 8P Extra Crispy Meal. I have to say that this absolutely worth my wait! The chicken is crispy outside and tender& juicy inside. The flavor is perfect and the chicken is so fresh! Just as it advertises, it’s finger licking good! This is the most delicious crispy chicken I’ve ever had! Thanks for the hardworking staffs who made this possible. Like many restaurants, I know they are short staffed. Working in the food and services industry is not easy, I do hope people could be more understanding to this industry. Perhaps going there joining the team rather than just making complains.
I didn’t know the twister was only chicken and lettuce in a wrap, way too expensive. Spicy chicken slider wasn’t spicy. Waited a long time but I feel bad for the 3 people working, must not have the best manager.
This location should be taken back by the franchisee how does a chicken restaurant run out chicken? Their hours are so inconsistent and you never know if they are open or not. The last time I had their chicken it was burnt and dried out and the gravy was basically coloured water. If I could give it negative stars I would. This has been going on way too long. People of Ladysmith deserve better. It is obvious that the franchisee does not care or do any inspections.
Food was as you would expect from any KFC but the reason for one star is that my 7 year old daughter needed to use the bathroom and they wouldn't let her. We were paying customers, on a road trip to Victoria, and all they could say was the bathrooms were closed. So we went to the place next door and they were nice enough to let us use their washroom even though we didn't purchase anything from them. I get we couldn't dine in at KFC, we didn't want to anyway, but not letting a little girl use the bathroom was out of order!
For real, avoid this KFC at all costs. I think bad ownership is probably why this is the worst KFC on planet earth, but I can't be sure. What I am sure of is there is no leadership, the employees aren't trained appropriately and some seem to wander aimlessly around the kitchen while customers both in-store and in drive through become increasingly incensed at waiting for 45 mins for a their food.
There seems to be new ownership with the KFC. The customer service is not any better than it was in the past. Every KFC that we've ever visited will sub out the drink for a gravy including this location in the past. Now they will not accommodate this sub. They would also accommodate the request for the wings to be cooked fresh, not any longer. This would be sufficient if the window person wasn't handling the wings they tried to sell us as fresh with the same gloves they used to handle the cash and debit transactions prior to us. Sirry, I can't eat at an establishment that practices unsafe and unsanitary food practices. Considering this location has been riddled with issues over the past couple of years, you'd think they'd be working extra hard on providing stellar customer service to those of us who were still willing to give them a chance
My partner and I decided to give this a try despite the bad reviews. We went inside and ordered. The service was friendly and the food was quite good. It didn't take too long either. We were pleased with our visit!
I rarely leave bad reviews. The last two times I've ordered, 5 hot wings and waited about 5 mins in the drive thru for them. warning sign Both occasions the batter has been hot from the oil, but the meat and bone has been ice cold Staff is throwing frozen chicken wings into the fryer. This shows staff doesn't care about quality, as this happened in the spring and now winter at this location.
Never open even though website says they are. Tried several times and always something, staff shortages, and last time no hot water. No answering machine. Ridiculous and predick will not last much longer unless drastic measures taken to smarten up.
Unless you want to overpay $18 for a gallon of salt in a tortilla wrap, SAVE YOUR MONEY and your scorched taste buds. My tongue is still on fire from ordering a Twister Wrap, not as advertised. A pathetic overpriced, over fried, over salted chicken with some bottom of the bag lettuce, no tomatoes because we don’t read ingredients and slathered in ranch. This location isn’t serving anything but disappointment. At least the ice water cooled the salted tongues, but yuck, serve AS ADVERTISED PRODUCT or just shut down.
