I lived in Texas for a few years so my expectations are allot higher than they were previously regarding tacos. Been to Kayla's twice now and there's no disappointment. Haven't tried any of their other dishes but man alive those tacos slap. Will definitely be making the trip from GR to Muskegon to get them again.
This food here is fire! What you see is what you get with this place, but if you’re looking for authentic street tacos and tamales, this is THE place! Staff was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant and bathrooms were super clean even though it was raining and several customers came and went with takeout while we were eating, which tells me folks know this place is good. We found it on Google maps while looking for a quick lunch as we were passing through Muskegon and it did not disappoint. The quesabirria was also on point. I could eat here every day.
Walked in, placed a large order and was out within 15 minutes. They even had an employee help bring my food out to the truck. The food was excellent and we tried a little bit of everything, including the horchata. 10/10 recommend.Food: 5/5
WOW! This place is amazing, fast service, excellent customer service, and great quality! Kayla, thank you for providing my fiancé and I with a delicious dinner. Highly recommend the wet burritos!
This place has good food. Love everything except the oil soaked soggy corn taco shells. We have ordered them enough times to know that drowned in cold oil and uncooked is the standard. Husband says they have the best tamales. It's one of our regular places to eat because its conveniently located close. Only wish they were open a little later and knew how to fry corn shells. Otherwise it would be five stars. Edit to add Went into get food recently and an older woman and older gentleman were working. It was the best food we have ate at Kaylas. The only time we received crisp, cooked corn shells and my quesadilla was actually toasted. If all the food that came out of that kitchen was cooked and tasted like these two made it, kayla's Tacos would have a line out the door and down the street everyday. Please teach your employees to cook before turning them loose in the kitchen. You're doing a huge disservice to your business. Dropping to 3 stars because we now know Kayla's Taco can be so better than it is.

Wow! My husband I tried Kayla's today. I wanted birria tacos. We ordered 3 tacos and a horchata. The tacos were so good we had to order 2 more!
I simple can NOT EXPRESS enough how great these tacos are! My go to are the Carne Asada on Corn Tortillas. I would have to consider myself a taco Connoisseur. These are by FAAAAAAAAR the best place for Tacos in Muskegon!!! Don’t forget their Salsa verde mild sauce has great flavor!

We eat here probably twice a week! I love their tacos! My husband and think they are the best tacos in muskegon! They are so good! The line moves fast! Update: tried the wet burrito tonight and it was so good!!
