Key Man Lock & Safe Company is a family owned and operated full-service locksmith with locations in both Layton, Utah and Ogden, Utah.

Story

Key Man Lock & Safe is based in Layton, Utah. Our Master Locksmith has been practicing the trade for over 20 years and is well versed in the areas of automotive, commercial, residential, safes, vaults, and safe deposit boxes.

We possess all of the latest equipment, computers, and software required to laser cut and program 95% of the automotive keys currently available.

Two of our locksmiths were factory trained by Diebold and our Master Locksmith was one of their top technicians four years in a row. We are well versed in the financial institution arena and services any locking device a bank may have.

We are open Monday through Saturday and stock a large supply of locks, keys, and parts. Stop by our clean facility today for all of your key and lock needs.

WOW! I am honestly 100% impressed with the professional level of service I received today from Glenn's company (Key Man Lock & Safe). I've never met him before and I've never been to either location (Ogden or this location) until now. As I purchased a used car today, I was given only 1 set of keys to the vehicle. Hearing about dealer prices being absolutely through the roof as far as getting new keys intimidated me. Since the vehicle I purchased was manufactured in 2013, it has the chip within the key, etc. When I called, Glenn and his staff were incredibly friendly and very flexible with the options I was told about. He addressed all my concerns in a very professional and informative manner. He even was able to make me a key that contains the chip AND is waterproof too! Even though I showed up only 20 minutes before they were scheduled to close, he was able to get me my additional key in no time. He meticulously tested everything and his level of precision is unmatched. To my surprise, he also threw in an additional non-chip key for no additional cost (useful in case you lock your keys inside your car). If you ever need a new set of keys, Glenn and his company will take care of you without killing your budget. Their prices are great and you won't find this level of quality anywhere else. He and his staff were honest and are more than qualified for this sort of technical expertise. HIGHLY recommend!

Wish I could give it 10 stars! Glenn was so good to work with. I got my ignition rebuilt and new keys done within a few hours. I was told by others that I needed an entire new ignition switch... not the case. Glenn rebuilt mine for 5 times less money than putting in a new one would cost. Honest, expert, and overall amazing experience. This is the locksmith to count on!!

Very knowledgeable. I bought some key blanks online that I couldn't get to program. They were able to explain why. They build custom keys here as well which its really cool.

Best lock smith I have ever been to. They have fair prices for what they do, definitely better than any of the dealers. My favorite thing about these guys is that they will do as much as they can to make sure you are happy with your purchase and they're really nice which helps. The free popcorn is my favorite part! My go to reliable locksmiths! :)
