One of the best metro parks I've visited. I love this place,...to bike, to walk, to nature hike, to enjoy the foliage in autumn, to picnic, enjoy the beach, to fish, to kayak, canoe, BBQ, hold a party, celebrate a birthday, play soccer, play volleyball, enjoy a great sunset and sunrise. If you like to bike they have 8.5 mile loop paved trail which connects to the southern state park and also connects to the city of Milford in the North. You can bike 28 miles of track of you do the loop, bike to Milford, and the southern state park South of I-96. You can't go wrong with Kensington. A beautiful picturesque metro park. Here are a couple pictures I took and stylized.

I have been coming to this place a long time. The Nature Center is definitely recommended especially if you love them the long walks. Also great for boating and canoeing even paddle boats can be rented.

I love the beach and waterslide. My kids and I went for my birthday. Its a clean park, and rangers go through making announcements about nature classes they are offering. The Rookery (nesting for herons and cranes) is really neat to see in the spring.

Wonderful park, lots of trails to hike and a wonderful farm center with horses, cows, pigs, goats, and more. They have a restaurant, and some farm market booths on the weekends. Sometimes they have an encampment that demonstrates early Michigan life.

Beautiful nature trails and full of wild life. The park is well kept and very big. Although, the water in my opinion was gross and I wouldn't swim in it. Bishop Lake has nicer water to swim in and do activities in. Paddle boarding is decent price but no matter What you must have a $60 deposit, so if you don't have the deposit scratch going out on a boat. Bishop Lake is better for anything water. I like this metro park because the nature trail is beautiful and full of life.
