The walk is amazing. If you go, I would suggest you walk all eight miles. A beautiful sight

I love this park. This area is my favorite because there is always plenty of space to sit for a meal and I can connect with the trails or go and spend time on the water. There is plenty of shade and there's playground nearby.

The beach isn't bad, I had a nice time here. We barbequed and swam. Only downside was that the water was a little murky from algae and also smelled funky. Definitely ideal to come here earlier in the season like June and July. After July I would not recommend coming back here.

A little shallow and short dock, but nice cement ramp and protected from wind. Lots of trailer parking for shorter trailer car combos. Had to take my 24 foot trailer off my truck to park. Nearby bathrooms.

We enjoyed exploring Kensington MetroPark and saw lots of waterfowl including Great Blue Herons and Sandhill Cranes. You can spend a whole day exploring and still not see everything there is to enjoy here.
