Nice little place for fishing, canoeing or boating in the pond. The trails goes alongside the pond and has a few fishing piers where you can cast a line, no picnic tables or open spaces for a picnic. The trails are short and easy for a walk with young kids.
This place is absolutely gorgeous! Extremely peaceful and worth the drive and walking! If you have the time use your bikes and ride down the trail! These trails are all connected to the Trans Canada Trailway! I can’t wait to go back with my canoe! That admission fee is worth it!
Great place for a hike. This is a great path for anyone looking to get outdoors. There's a pot to do here. There's paddle boats and fishing, if you like that. Also, an amazing place to walk your dog. There is a bridge that goes over the road that you walk over,it has a great view. Not to far from Brampton so it's easy to get here and back home with minimal traffic. The path isn't very difficult and it is paved so bike riding is great.
This is a good place to get away to relax for the day.i really enjoy the scenery as you walk the trails and diffrent ponds.you see alot of different wild life which is very cool to see.lots of great fishing spots for bass sunfish pike. Love coming out spending the day.whats the added bonus the staff on site a very friendly and helpful. And with the one admission into the park you can go to any of there other sites with same admission ticket. If you love nature and fishing or just going for a hike I'd recommend it. Lots of fun to bring the whole family.
Beautiful park. Very busy on weekends. Trout and pike fishing is currently open.
Ken Whillans Resource Management Area If you booked for the Badlands, you can get into Ken Whillans. There is a trail that goes around the lake. One is allowed to go fishing.
Nice spot, good staff, maintained well, occasionally catch a pike, bass or trout but great place if you're looking for sun fish, rock bass and any smaller fish on a simple worm and hook. Seen a few yellow bellys and big snapping turtles as well which are cool to see!
A very nice walk around a pond area. The roads are spacious, the views are nice. The bugs were minimal. There were several spots to fish, relax or just view little fishes swimming around.Saw dragon flies, frogs,a bunny and fishes. Lots of shaded areas and bridge turns. It was a short trail ,perfect for light pleasurable walk. No crowding. Fee to enter =$5.75 adult $3+ kids.
Nice and quiet fishing place. Didn't get a chance to check the place fully. Looks like a place for hiking as well. I don't believe there's a public restroom. If there's is, it was not obvious to me. Had a chance to enjoy a sunny day while family fished
This place is fantastic. Cheap parking for the day also alot of space available in the parking lot. Has two were large ponds for fishing. They have boats available for rental they also have many docks setup along shore to fish from. Very clean and well taken care of grounds. The man running the place is very nice. Lots of fish to catch including bass, sunfish, pike and catfish. A great place to spend an afternoon.
