First time here and it was spectacular! Food was delicious. Prime rib was cooked just right. Husbands fish was also good. It was a little pricey but for the quality and service it was definitely worth every penny.
The environment is clean and well kept. It’s inviting and warm in the restaurant, which makes for a good time. The steak was delicious and cooked well. The only way this place could be better is if the steak was aged longer. They have a huge charcoal grill that they use to cook their steaks and you can definitely taste the difference!
Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. Prices are above average for the area, but this is a steakhouse, so to be expected. The manager walked around thanking people for choosing to dine with them. We were celebrating my daughter going off to college. They did a really cool desert for her. Will definitely visit again.
When you see a giant cow in front...you know it's great and it was!! We went here for a company Christmas Dinner and the drinks and food were delicious! I had the nutcracker old fashioned an old fashioned with chocolate is was soo good! For appetizers we had the Bosco sticks and mozzarella cheese sticks. Both were good. Then we had french onion soup and salad. Then the star of the show was the special of the day. The tomahawk steak with blue cheese crust. It was absolutely beautiful and it tasted as good as it looked! A great night with some great food!
Went here with family while in town visiting, it was highly recommended as the best steak house in the area. My steak and my wife’s salmon were excellent. They have a full bar with traditional surf/turf as well as ribs and pork-chops. Great service and the prices are very reasonable with steaks I’m the $25-45 range and other entrees around $20-30.
The food and service were amazing. It had been 14 years since we were able to get back here. A few things have changed, but it was still very good.Food: 5/5
I had made reservations, was seated promptly in the bar area. It was a busy night but service was fantastic. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked in on us frequently I wish I could remember his name. Dinner was great, we both had ribs. The manager walked around and checked in to see if everything was good. Was presented with lots of dessert options, couldn't resist so had to take the chocolate mousse cake home, so good!
I walked in at 8:42pm, not realizing they would be closed at 9:00pm. I was greet with warm, happy faces. I was seated immediately. Joe was my waiter. He was quite attentive and personable. I ordered a sweet tea, and Joe brought me the entire carafe. He said it was best to grab it now so as to no one throwing it out. I knew what I wanted, and I was hungry. I started with a cup of stuffed peppered soup. It was a tomato base, very flavorful, filled with meat and green peppers in every bite. Then, I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare with sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions and a side of mixed vegetables. Joe thoughtfully brought me a baked potato with sour cream on the side and the house potatoes, as I forgot to order a potato. So he brought me both. A massive amount of mushrooms and grilled onions were presented to me for my steak as well. Joe was attentive without being overwhelming. Mikemanager/owner was making his rounds. He engaged me and assured me there was no need to rush as I apologized for coming in right before closing. He said if the doors are open, we are going to serve you. We had a lovely conversation. I advise anyone looking for a good steak, great atmosphere, and delightful , efficient staff to go to Kelsey's. I even caught some of the BlackHawks game
Our server was bubbly and attentive. My dish was in my top five favorite salmon dishes that I've ever had the cedar plank salmon. Also, they bring a tray of desserts by your table to entice you to buy one and boy did it work! We got them to go so no pics, but holy delicious.
I cannot compliment this place enough. Fillet, prime rib, dessert, etc. Prices are fair for the quality. Service is the best. It was a lil noisy fun noisy but it was a Saturday, and almost every table was full. Incredible local desserts too! I can't wait to return....
