Very unfortunate that Const.Troy Bevan hasn’t been investigated for abuse of power and malicious intent to intimidate. It’s incredibly disheartening to know that the people who should be protecting our rights are in fact infringing upon them. Understandably, it’s the end of the month and his quota needed to be reached, so he was unwilling to be reasonable in a perfectly legal situation that he manipulated into an illegal one. We, of course, complied to his every request and were bewildered when it took the turn that it did. I genuinely hope that in the future authoritative figures are held to higher standards as to not take advantage of the system.
Lady at the front was very unpleasant and got angry fast. I had to make a statement because I received a creepy letter from a stalker. She was not helpful, and wanted to know all the details, which I wasn't comfortable talking to her - I wanted to talk to an officer. She definitely is in the wrong line of work in my opinion.
I'll always stand by our police force and I honestly think they do a great job enforcing the law given the circumstances. It's unfortunate that more and more people will be pushed into the underworld of society over the coming years.
Please stop the bright headlights in our city! I understand some of them were approved by the dealerships some how but stop the ones that are after market like on the jeep tj yj or whatever you call those fyi anything before 2012 usually did not come with LED headlights so will be not regulated at all we need to be able to see at night without being blinded everywhere we look!
Pictures is what the cops did to me after calling them for help with an assault between a business and friends including myself, tackled just for taking a video of the situation to get evidence for the assault charges I wanted to press against a business owner. Videos prove we’re not in the wrong and the business owner even grabbed my phone forcefully, and that’s when I was tackled. It was really quick, I WAS NOT READ MY RIGHTS... I tried to report the officers but they won’t even call me back like I asked. In a video I have me screaming for help from other people, and how I called and asked them for help. Too scared to go to the hospital for my broken thumb, dislocated shoulder feels like it or the nurse said possible internal bleeding healthline. I’m 90 pounds. 3 officers tackled me for trying to gain evidence over a case I asked them to come assist me with. Not assault me over. Complaint as been made through the non RCMP line because I don’t trust you anymore. Those 3 are not suited to be police. They’re criminals and I WANT TO PRESS CHARGES. Not too sure if I can post the video begging for their help questioning why they’re body slamming me when I called them to help with an assault NOT BE ASSAULTED WORSE.
A constable from this detachment took the time to come over and lend me unsolicited aid, when my car broke down near where he had recently responded to a call. When we were unable to fix my car, he not only recommended what turned out to be an outstanding mechanic, he personally called and spoke to him to ask him if he was able to help me ASAP, as I was in from out of town. Very friendly, very kind, very helpful. Thank you.
Reserve Constable Ecklund sp?, was in Princeton at a pawn shop so I decided to photograph her cruiser. She came lumbering out like a tyrant demanding to know what I was doing. Told her I was simply taking photos and asked if I'd broken a law. She responded with typical rudeness that seems to come with a badge, too long to mention here. I am a veteran, a patriot and have NO criminal record... This snowflake cop is one reason for the police/citizen disconnect.
RCMP have always been helpful and I've never found them to be unprofessional. I grew up with them here and now I see their in a new building on Richter street. I've always found them to be great in Kelowna.
Great service ! And yes, we need our police , and appreciate all RCMP employees for their courage , and the dangerous and stressful job they do in order to keep us all safe ! Thank you !
experienced the friendly administrative/clerical staff one time for fingerprinting but was in the wrong place! they directed me to the external company for that and were helpful in directions to find it. was a very nice well kept lobby as little that i saw!
