We stopped in and the fresh backing smells were like my grandma’s kitchen! A lemon pie was only $5 CAD. We also bought stkybuns, oatmeal cookies and date cookies. We then went outside on their picnic tables and had a snack on the buns and date cookies! Wow!!! great. We’ll be back again for more.
Worst sticky buns I’ve ever had!!! Dear Kelly …. Stop calling them sticky buns. They are NOT sticky buns!!Made the huge mistake of buying 6. Super disappointed. They are basically a nice dinner roll with a DASH of butter & sugar on top. .
Great place to get lunch and some fresh baked goods while waiting for the tide to turn at the Hopewell Rocks. Had some hot homemade chicken soup and chili. And bought a selection of cookies and sticky buns for later. All really good, along with friendly service. We had been hoping to find some fresh croissants, but alas they don't sell them. Their other offerings were great!
Delicious baked goods! I have tried their lemon tart, cranberry muffin and this chocolate square cake and loved it all. Definitely recommend stopping by this place if you’re passing thru Alma.
We actually went three times a day. Every time , different items were on the shelf. The bakery had everything we needed. Taste of home kitchen. Great relief when you're on the road with kids. We liked everything we ate: muffins, buns, soup, cookies and salads!
Busy coffee shop, the awesome doughnuts and sticky buns made me think when my grandmother made one's just like these. We pre-ordered sandwiches to bring on our drive through Fundy that day and they were perfect. Planning is everything! Highly recommended for take out breakfast and lunch.
Was given a partial corner piece of sticky bun that had a blackened, dried, and hardened edge from overbaking. After tearing away the hardened parts, was left with even less. What remained tasted pretty good but the bad taste from being given a partial, half-burnt bun overcame that small positive.
Best bakery! Motorcycle friendly ! Best place to stop for hot homemade soup, yum!! Fresh baked goods that will have you coming back for more. Sticky buns are the best
Delicious sticky buns, classic donuts, yummy bread, good coffee, reasonable prices and great staff. We walked by the bake shop on the way to dinner and knew immediately this would be out breakfast pick.
I don’t know about world famous. I think places in Alma get much better reviews due to the fact they are the only place to get thing such as food and drink. Sticky buns were OK definitely not world famous but great if your camping and can’t make them!
