My daughter has been going to Dr Ng for Myo treatment and I cannot praise her enough. She’s professional and knowledgeable and super friendly. My daughter has underbite and crowding with her teeth. We have been going to other ortho consultations which suggests a more delayed treatment, we learned through Dr Ng that an early preventive treatment is more benefit for my daughter’s case. Dr Ng has also identified tongue tie which was not noticed from other Doctors which was another factor that contributed to her underbite. We are so pleased with the current outcome work still in progress as my daughter’s face and posture has been corrected quite significantly on top of just fixing her underbite. If you need any myo treatment, I would highly recommend getting a consultation with dr Ng.
I can't recommend Dr. Cathy Ng enough! I have 3 kids that went through the myofunctional therapy program with wonderful results. They all had better airway health, better posture, and avoided extractions with braces. As an added bonus, they were also educated about healthy nutrition, good oral hygiene, and oral posture, which they carried through their teenage years without my nagging. Dr. Ng also helped me fix a problematic cavities from my previous dentist. We were so blessed to have found Dr. Ng's practice.
Both of my daughters have been seeing Dr. Ng for myofacial treatment, and the results have been truly amazing. My oldest daughter’s teeth are noticeably more aligned, her posture has improved, and her face and neck look more balanced and toned. My youngest has a small mouth, and the myofacial therapy has helped guide her adult teeth to come in straight while also improving her jawline. Dr. Ng is incredibly encouraging and supportive, and her staff is wonderful—always helpful, informative, and thorough with their information sessions and exercises. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Our family has been going to Dr. Ng for many years, and I wanted to share my experience.nnWhen my son first needed orthodontic work, I consulted two other dentists. Both noted that his jaw was too narrow and suggested extracting four healthy teeth to make room for alignment. I was very hesitant to pull healthy teeth. A friend then referred me to Dr. Ng for MYO treatment. Her approach was to expand the jaw to create enough space for all the teeth to fit. I definitely preferred this solution.nnThroughout the treatment, the office provided very helpful information sessions on the importance of nasal breathing. I realized this treatment could help me too. My mother suffers from Sleep Apnea and relies on a CPAP machine; I feel that I would eventually face the same issue.nBut the treatment took a long time and it is expensive. After my own dentist suggested to extract a lower tooth because of crowding, I thought I should take action. I started my own MYO treatment a year ago, and my dental arch is roughly 1.5mm wider. While I need another 1–2 years to fully complete the process, I can already breathe through my nose without any difficulty. So far, I feel it is a good investment in my health.nnI also want to mention Dr. Ng’s amazing emergency care. I recently had severe gum pain just a few days before a trip. Dr. Ng squeezed me in for an early appointment and used the Fotona Laser to treat the infection. It saved my vacation!
Our family has been doing the Myo program at Keele and Laurence Dental and the results have been amazing. We've noticed real improvements in breathing and proper jawndevelopment since starting. Dr. Cathy is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly.nnJany and Elisabeth are wonderful — always welcoming and great at making the whole family feel comfortable. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking intonmyofunctional therapy!
