Tasty and amazing quantity for the lowest price. Definitely try the new pumpkin spice ice creams before they are gone. One scoop is large enough for a quick desert snack and to keep you sweet tooth asking for more but the taste is amazing. Definitely try it with the waffle cone it adds an amazing kick to the overall experience
Just love Kawartha ice cream. The store still not allow in store shopping we could only order the ice cream from the window. When weather is nice, there will be lineup. The parking lot is big and there are benches for customers to sit and enjoy the ice cream. I usually go for a baby scope. If the store goes back in store shopping, I'm sure I will buy more things. Right now i only know they sell ice cream. I can't wait to go inside the store and check it out!!
Love their ice cream. Really nice creamy texture with not being too overly powerful in flavour. The blue buried treasure is always a nice hit, which my wife had. I went with the new key lime pie flavour with the black raspberry thunder. The key lime was nice and had this refreshing feel to it every time a bite was taken. Nice for a hot day like we had today. Their setup was really nice with the pandemic happening where you have a lineup outside and still get the feel of being inside their shop with the menus and products. Even though there was a lineup, it moved really fast so don’t think it’s a long wait with 10 or 12 people in line. Great job, quick service and always a nice little road trip up here for great ice cream!!
As of now September 2021 it's walk-up window service only. Can be busy on nice summer evenings and weekends but the line always moves fast. Worth it for Kawartha Dairy ice cream! Beware the scoop sizes - the largest size is ACTUALLY giant!
This is my absolute favourite ice cream shop/stop. The portions are insane and Kawartha has amazing flavours. If you're ever in the area, make sure to stop off and grab yourself some my faves are mocha almond fudge and death by chocolate. Enjoy!
Love Kawartha Dairy ice cream! Whenever I am in the area, I almost always stop by for a late night treat before heading back home. They have a large assortment of ice cream flavours and the staff is always friendly. Every so often, they switch up the menu too. Keep in mind that their scoops are quite large so if you're already full from dinner, I would suggest you pick the smallest size.
Got a delicious "Small" cup of Sugar Shack Maple. Yum. Perfect for a Canadian Spring day. Thanks. The Raspberry Sorbet and the Icrd Coffee sorbet are both fantastic. Just wish the servers were still made to wear masks, especially when they are talking while scooping.

Its always great to visit Kawartha's. It brings the kid out of you. Their icecream are simply out of the word.
I had a scoop of Mango and a scoop of Key lime pie, and OMG the Mango was so creamy and to die for! The key lime pie was also pretty good, however I wouldn't get it again. My husband got the maple walnut milkshake with regular milk instead of the chocolate milk, and it wasnt that great. The flavour was super subtle and tasted a lot more like regular milk. Maybe the key was to get it with chocolate milk? Overall, I cant wait to go back to try more flavours!!!!
