I approached the lovely owners of Kavia with an idea to create a wedding band to compliment my solitaire that I got from my husband for our ten year anniversary. I brought in my original wedding ring set and my mother's old wedding band to use as a source of gold and stones. I had enough gold and a small diamond left over that we used to create a very cool thumb ring. Both pieces exceeded my expectations. Both Tracy and Mahesh are very knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way thru out the process. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them on creating something new from something old that had a great sentimental value to me. Thank you!
Mahesh was incredibly helpful when I needed to get my engagement ring resized. He explained the process very well and gave us a very good deal for the resizing.

Amazing service and great prices! Tracey is always friendly, always helpful, and always easy to work with on custom jobs. Over the years, I've purchased several things from Kavia's including a choker, an ammolite custom necklace, a citrine ring and several other odds and ends silver chains ect. I've never regretted a purchase!
Went in a ring resize for my wedding band while on our honeymoon after I was worried that my wedding band was going to fall off!. Mahesh was incredibly helpful and quick to get the ring fixed to a good size for my finger. I think we had it back within an hour! Super helpful, super friendly, and super quick. A big thank you to Mahesh, once again. Would definitely recommend going to for jewellery repair, or in my case, an emergency jewellery fix while on our honeymoon.
I cannot say enough GOOD things about Mahesh and his wonderful jewelry store. First of all, he custom made my engagement ring from a picture I had taken years before. Secondly, we are from Edmonton so communication was very important and they exceeded our expectations. They helped make our engagement extra special with the love and care they showed. We also had them make a custom wedding band to fit with the engagement ring. The cherry on top is every time we visit Canmore, Mahesh cleans and shines it up for me. He takes such care and pride in his work. I leave with a huge smile and a shiny new ring! My husband and I would highly recommend Kavia. It's a place where you get extra special service from very talented people. Bonus...if you aren't from Canmore, you get a trip to the mountains!

My fiancé and I got engaged in Canmore. Being away from home and having an engagement ring that was too big it was likely to get lost…but of course she wanted to wear it! Mahesh helped us with getting it re sized for a VERY good price. Don’t hesitate to go to him. He’s a great guy, and is very honest. Thanks again mahesh.
My partner and I live in a small isolated town north of edmonton. I wanted to get her an engagement ring and knew that she wanted a unique style. On top of that I had a pretty tight turn around time to get it done. I had called a bunch of local jewelers and pretty much got told to pound sand. I called Kavia and got in touch with Mahesh who was welcoming and understanding right out of the gate. He was excited to take on the project and we pretty much did everything over the phone and email. I work night shifts most of the time and Mahesh allowed me to call him late at night and during his days off to help get everything done and to answer all my questions. The ring came out spectacular but I learned the day that I proposed that I had asked for a size 7 when her actual size is 5. We brought it back to Mahesh to be resized and he got it done in an hour. He didnt even charge me for the resizing and was just happy that my partner got to wear it out to dinner that night. Mahesh is hard working, professional, and trustworthy. We will 100% be doing our future jewelry related business at this store.
