We were craving Greek food and decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered the souvlaki platters: one chicken and one pork. The proteins were very well marinated and seasoned. They were not dry at all. There were nice char from the grill. The rice was delicious. The salad was lovely. The tzatziki sauce was thick, creamy and garlicky. The potatoes were yummy. The portions were great. A hidden gem in a quiet little street. A must-try if you are in the area.
I didnt order Uber Eats but I went and had lunch with my wife. The food is delicious, the quantity was beyond great and we were extremely satisfied. Special Mentions: Kalamari fries was so soft and melted in mouth. Fish and chips were extremely tasty.
With all the 5 star reviews we just had to try this place. We ordered a chicken gyro plate, grilled chicken breast and a chicken gyro pita for take out. We only paid 37$ for the 3 meals so the pricing is good but unfortunately the lack of flavour in all of these dishes will make this experience unmemorable. One of the takeout containers had a hole in it so it leaked. Sorry to say that I cannot recommend this place.
The food comes in big portions and is very delicious. Calamaries were very well cooked. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Would recommend!
My Gf had received a post on facbook of this establishment and we were very intrigued to go and try it out so we planned a night to go there. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant to be nice decor and friendly staff. However, what we did notice was that the food upon ordering did take some time. Also we were neer asked if we need more water or anything else.In comparision to other greek restaurants, i feel that kavala has lots of room for improvement. When food came, my gf of greek backgorund was disgusted beyond belief. Its only because i was hungry and started eating that she hestantly began eating. She honestly said what is this malakies which made me laugh. She wanted to send the food back. Honestly the food was very salty and the salad was not greek, more like belle province style. I attached a picture.. All in all we were disappointed but i feel they can improve. This was jus our honest experience.
Very nice environment, super attentive and friendly staff, adequate prices for the amount and quality/taste of food, definitely a recommended spot for greek food.
I tried a sharable meal for 2. It was very tasty and fresh! I would honestly recommend this place to anyone.
The waiter who helped with the take out order was very friendly, and the food is really good. However, the portions got smaller in the last year. They actually only expanded two aluminum dishes half way to give it the illusion of being full. Sad trick, especially for the prices. The last year was tough on restaurants but this not the way to keep customers. Probably won't be going back.
First visit. Best Calamari!!! Everything was amazing, except the rice could just be personal taste or an off batch. Fantastic service it was a quiet evening.
Ordered on UberEat: delivery on time, food was still hot but the pitas were missing. Called the restaurant and they brought the 2 missing pitas which were very good plus added balaclavas as an apology within 15 min. Great service and thank you to the one answering the phone who also did the 2nd delivery. The food was also pretty good. Would love to go eat in once everything opens up again!
