Kato tacos

We've had lunch here a couple of times and it was excellent both times! It's a comfortable place to dine in and the service / hospitality was great. The food, excellent! I recently had the sopes. You get 3 and you get to choose what meat you want on each one. I ordered 1 lengua & 2 al pastor. They were scrumptious! The meat was marinated, seasoned and cooked just right. They're very generous with their portions, you don't leave hungry. My wife ordered the vegetarian burrito which they catered to her vegan diet. She loved it, said it was full of flavor. On a previous visit I had their lengua & al pastor tacos, excellent as well and a little less messy than the sopes. You can't go wrong with Kato Tacos.

I was going to take pictures but we were too busy stuffing our faces to actually snap a pic so we go some shots of our empty plates when we were done. The biggest issue with this place is they don't have enough business yet to warrant an additional server so sometimes the service can be a bit spotty, but whatever issue you may run into is worth it. The food here is bonkers delicious. The first time I came here, we ate the burrito and the gorditas. Then we went to get some drinks, and we ended up coming back a second time later in the night. Then we came back for dinner the next day, that's how delicious it all was. The prices are also very good, the 8 dollar burrito is the size of a baby and is near perfectly balanced flavor wise. The tacos though good, weren't anything super special but definitely a nice addition if you are taco fan.

Absolutely amazing! This place not only has THE most authentic food, but also has amazing service as well. Very friendly staff! We had the tacos, tortas, and popusa. Everything came out hot and tasty. I got carnitas with my tacos, but every type of meat was tasty. Highly recommend!!!!!

Love this place! Real mexican food, that tastes great. I waited 12 years to find a torta that tastes like the ones I had in Las Cruces. Delicious. Great prices.

Good food. More "authentic" Mexican food than most other places in town. Very fun, friendly staff. She had us laughing and smiling. At this point, they are just getting going. Tough to make it in this location, as it is not visible from the street, and no convenient parking, but it is worth the trouble.

From the first night me and my friends took a chance on this place my food world has been made so much better. The chicken empanadas are amazing. The service is always so friendly and nice. I think the lady at the front desk is named Crystal and if I'm wrong I apologize. But she is always so nice and an amazing conversationalist. She recognizes my friends and I when we come in and usually always says our order before we can speak it. 100% recommended. Make this place notorious!

My steak burrito had multiple layers of excellent flavor! I could tell it was prepared hot and fresh for my order. The waitress/hostess pointed out that they don't take the shortcuts on their food that some other restaurants do. The taste and flavor confirms that! :

Had Gorditas, tostadas, and nachos. Food was more than good. It was great. Service is friendly, professional, and prompt. If you want more than American/Tex-mex, go there. You won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the food. Tried things off the menu we hadn't had before. Portions were huge and prices were much less than expected. Really enjoyed the experience.
