Exceptional service one nail at a time
I’ve been a manicurist since 1990 and have trained many people over the years, from novices to experienced manicurists. I’ve often been surprised to find that so few “trained” manicurists—even those who are accomplished at fake nails or nail designs—actually have true, proper training.
Many are lacking even rudimentary manicuring skills.
Clients often think that the most important aspect of getting a great manicure is how long the nail polish lasts—an important end result, clearly—but there are several other factors that contribute to achieving a good manicure. These include taking proper care in each step of the process:
Filing, shaping, pushing back the cuticle, and applying the polish. I created this handboo because I’d like to share my expertise—the things that you learn from experience—with manicure/pedicure devotees and professionals who want to learn more.
