Wonderful ambience, GREAT food and AMAZING service!! We ordered fried calamari, mixed platter for one and burek not pictured. Food was delicious and very tasty! Also, LOT of meat for a great price! Our server was Andy and he was wonderful!! Very courteous & friendly We will definitely be back soon!!!
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant just opened 2 weeks ago. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. The dining style made me feel like almost casual elegance, it has a pleasant, soothing ambience, modern and clean. quality food, good drink & reasonable price. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. So happy that we finally found a Balkan restaurant in the area. The staff truly cares about your experience. Again the food is absolutely amazing, seasoning and they cooked our meals just right– everything we tasted melt in our mouths. They have the good service, they have the quality food all they need is people to enjoy their great food. I hope Karaka will have a lot of guests soon in the future. Absolutely will come back again and again. Highly recommend!
Randomly found this place when we were searching for grilled food. The ambience is great and food is pretty decent, just more on the pricey side. Our server Rosa was very welcoming and accommodating. I do have to say they make a mean Old Fashioned and a delicious Passion fruit Ginger Mule.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Great looking new restaurant. Attentive service. Fresh seafood options all over the menu. Lobster rolls which are hard as hell to find in the 'burbs. The place is in a sidestreet strip mall. Go find them and try the food. Great cheese platter. Chef said seafood comes in from Chicago daily. We'll be back.
The first time I came to Karaka was with my mom and we were extremely pleased with the service and the food. Came back a second time and brought my boyfriend & let me tell you; he just found his new favorite spot to eat. Andy was our server and I was very happy with his service and being so knowledgeable on the food as well as drinks. Will definitely be coming back here again soon for my birthday!
I had a reservation for my fathers surprise birthday party, Karaka was truly on top of their game. They were very welcoming and assisted us with anything we needed. The staff was very well presented, the owners happened to be their the night of our event and even joined our party upon our request. The place is truly remarkable, so clean, top of the line fixtures and the 2 giant tv's at the bar with the crystal clear picture are a truly remarkable feature. The cleanliness of this establishment was a true breathe of fresh air. We enjoyed Karaka and their service so much that we have reserved it once more for my mothers birthday. Since my fathers birthday party, I have visited Karaka a few more times to enjoy dinner with my wife and son, the hospitable staff truly make you feel welcomed and I will continue to visit Karaka and try all of their delicious meals.
They deserve 10 stars. The atmosphere, The AMAZING Staff , SUPER Clean , The food tastes better then any Balkan Place in the City! Do yourself a favor and check this place out , it won’t disappoint! They have a large variety of Food that is simply DELICIOUS! So, there is something for everyone ! Cappuccino is delicious as are the Drinks from The Bar! Can’t wait to come visit again , Very Soon !
Another hidden green, just 3 months old. Off the main strip, simply Delicious!!! From the walleye to the 14 oz tomahawk pork chop to the Balkan mixed platter, everything was well seasoned and cooked well. Try the shrimp scampi or the seared ahi tuna to start. Finish with the crusty bread. There’s crème brûlée! The bar looks extensive and the restaurant is well lit. The dining room looked clean and neat, with cute table plants. You can see into the kitchen and it also looked shiny and clean. They’re short staffed, but managed well. The server was very accommodating, as well as the manager in duty. Get there early.
Aggi was an amazing to be served by. She didn't know she was in for a treat.. dinner for two?? Lol dishes were amazing! However, my friend and i looooove the goulash the best. I hope the very best for this place, location isn't prime but hope our locals makes this place happening.
Upon entering the restaurant you are met with beautifully set tables and a bar. My group was immediately greeted by a wonderful member from their wait staff and we were seated. My selection was a bacon bbq burger which I requested to be medium rare. It arrived in a few minutes with a side of fries. The size of the burger and the beef patty surprised me as it was a very large burger, which I can say matches the price perfectly. The burger was extremely flavorful, the vegetables fresh, and the beef patty was extremely tender and melted in my mouth. The fries were delicious and were very crispy. The meal was a 5/5 for me. Overall, the food was delicious and the size of the portions shocked everyone in my group in a good way, wait staff is extremely friendly, and the environment is modern and fancy. I will definitely be coming here again to try some of the other menu items.
