Save yourself the heartbreak of buying the pre-packed goods from supermarkets that have been sitting on the shelves for ever! Kar Heung Yuen produces their own goods fresh daily and packages them primarily for wholesale purposes to the food industry but the home cook or establishing cook/ restaurateur is able to walk in and purchase most items in smaller quantities per pound. They carry various bean pastes Red, Green, Lotus - low sugar and regular along with sesame paste and custard filling. They have many more but I am too lazy to list them all out and all very reasonably priced.
Great service and the owner was very polite.
